The workshop will allow participants to make a complete animated Lego film on an iPad, using sound effects, visual effects, titles and lots of imagination!
Your child will learn about the basic principles of stop motion animation, using special iPad apps and will receive a copy of their film at the end of the session!
These workshops are a collaboration between Can Do Academy and Blick and are suitable for children between 7 – 14 years.

During Belfast Design Week, Womenfolk took part in Designers of The Future - a number of workshops working with young girls in order to encourage them to pursue a career in design. They have shared some behind the scenes images of the events and share what happened throughout the day.

I can't speak highly enough of what being based in Blick Studios has done for my business over the past 3 years. Setting up my business coincided with moving into Blick (Malone Road) in 2012. I'm sure I wouldn't still be self-employed and running a business three years later if I hadn't rented office space here. From networking to business to business sales and collaborations, it's all been a huge boost. Also, being based in a shared office space alongside other start-up businesses has been a great motivator and provided an amazing support network over the last three years. The meeting room facilities have also been an excellent way to meet potential clients in a modern, professional and relaxed environment. If you're self-employed or thinking of starting a start-up, a desk space at Blick should be one of the first things on your checklist in my opinion! The benefits to growth, motivation and business longevity are huge!

Have held/been involved in/attended many events in this great space since it first opened - and there've been many updates of decor and facilities since. A really lovely place to hold events/go to gigs/do some yoga/so much more - or even run your business from it.

Great office space with lovely people. We’ve really benefited from being in here and have been exposed to lots of other creative businesses that we wouldn’t have otherwise met. So glad to have a workspace that isn’t a cafe!

Big thumbs up for Blick from Search Scientist Ltd . It gives start up businesses a running start. Really friendly, creative atmosphere. Lots of fun events on too. Liking the massage room downstairs a couple of days a week - it's like working for Google :) Thanks guys, Louise
