Bligh’s Lane Nursery School is situated in Lower Creggan, Derry. It offers excellent educational experiences to pre-school children.

Bligh’s Lane Nursery School was built in 1979 and situated in it’s own grounds in Lower Creggan. The Nursery School offers a wide range of challenging and exciting activities for very young children as they bridge the gap between home and school for the first time.
There is excellent provision for indoor and outdoor play, where quality educational experiences are carefully planned by the highly qualified teaching staff and their assistants, in order to ensure progression in all areas of the Pre-School curriculum.
The development of the Whole Child is seen as integral to our aims, therefore staff endeavour to praise and encourage children’s efforts at every opportunity in order to develop self-esteem and positive attitudes to the school experience, which is essential to the
learning process.
The staff welcome, and work closely with parents /guardians at all times. Parents /Guardians are
kept informed of progress by formal and informal means and are made aware of school events, themes / topics through a monthly newsletter and via the school's website and facebook page.
