Books By Stellas was set up by a sister who, when growing up, struggled to understand her brother with Autism. She wanted to give back to other children who had been through similar life experiences to her. . . but it didn't stop there. Why only educate the siblings when you can educate all children in connection with Autism? This is why two educational books have been produced to educate children about what a child with Autism faces on a daily basis through various scenarios. The 'No Two Stars are the Same' books give children a starting point to open conversations on a bigger basis, in the hope they understand their family members and classmates with Autism better and they would be more accepted into friendship groups. In order for the books to reach more children, Books By Stellas run a 'Buy 1, Give 1' scheme, whereby for every book purchased, another is donated to a school. All schools in Northern Ireland have received copies of the book series.
