WHAT IS CROSSFIT???????????
CrossFit is a core strength and conditioning program. We have designed it around the things you do in the real world. CrossFit is not a specialized fitness program but a deliberate attempt to optimize physical competence in each of ten recognized fitness domains. They are Cardiovascular and Respiratory endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy.
Everyday, you bend down to pick things up, you put things over your head, you squat down, you stand up, and you run after your kids. CrossFit prepares you for all that, together, with performing those exact daily movements in our workouts we borrow exercises from things like weightlifting, gymnastics, kettlebells running, and rowing. Creating a combination of these exercises the body continuously adapts, strengthens, and in turn becomes better conditioned. The key to the whole program is that through high levels of intensity, dedication and commitment… high safe fitness levels can be achieved in a short space of time.
