Went here today for the first time with my boyfriend after hearing good reviews. He got hot chocolate and a toffee cream doughnut and I had a flat white and the lunch special which was a maple gammon brioche sandwich. The atmosphere and location are gorgeous, really lovely place to enjoy a coffee! Everything tasted amazing so will definitely be back - would highly recommend to anyone in the area!

My cousin Valerie and I were at the Bothy for a light lunch today. What a lovely experience. The staff were so lovely, helping us to a table and one new young man being trained - with experienced staff being so helpful to him. Food was excellent , topped off by beautiful views. Thank you so much ....

I don’t normally do reviews but I’m gonna break the habit this once. I just had the best experience here in my own wee country of people trying to do things right, for the average Joe Bloggs like me and the average tourist… like my sister. Well she’s frae the Toon but left at 18 to go to university in Scotland and never came back… well permanently that is. So she has been living in Scotland longer than 18 years (much longer than 18 years but shush… I will get in bother). That makes her a visitor, a tourist to our wee country. So today I thought I would take her for coffee with mum and we set off for “The Bothy”. Here is where I want to start ringing bells and blowing trumpets. Not only are the staff friendly and helpful but the selection of food available and variety of seating areas and types of seats made our wee visit a totally encouraging one. Encouraging that there are people out there, young staff who are getting it right. Not your average stroppy teenager but someone who takes care and is passionate about their work and the positive experience they can give “tourists”. Thank you Bothy and thanks also to your young staff.

Called in to the Bothy for lunch yesterday. Food amazing & friendly helpful staff! If you’re out & about along the causeway coast definitely a lovely place to stop. We’ll definitely be back x

A lovely wee spot for a coffee and something to eat. It has a really relaxed atmosphere, great coffee and delicious food, all served by excellent staff. I’ll definitely be back. �

1at time here and will be back! Staff were very friendly and attentive, food was delicious even though it was after lunch by time we arrived and place was packed, still quite good selection of food available! Being in a wheelchair didn't cause to much of a problem and we were able to eat our food looking out at gorgeous view of Portbradden! Please keep your chicken,brie and cranberry sandwiches in good supply, we will be back xx

Felt £6 was a little over priced for a little pastry and a milk shake but it’s a nice little spot with quirky decor. Would like to go back and try their pizzas!
