Fitted the lock in the first picture a few weeks ago customer didn’t like the set up as she seemed to have to fiddle that extra bit to find the key hole , which truthfully is just what you have to do with these type or sash locks , so I returned and fitted a similar set up to suit her door but this time fitting a Euro profile sash lock making it easier for her to find the key hole as it has a BS Euro cylinder

Job today 😂🙈 if your barrel looks like this get the person who fitted out to replace it with the correct size barrel then kick them a boot of the way out. Not only is it prone to lock snapping it could also put a child's eye out it sticks out that far. When it comes to your home security avoid the so called handymen and ring your LOCAL Locksmith or you'll pay for it in the long run

Failed gearbox replaced today, customer would lock the door as normal and seemed to lock until you pushed that little harder on the handle and the door would open as if it wasn’t even locked , door adjusted and working back to new

Customer wanted a new handle because the colour didn’t suit her letterbox plate and door knocker , even tried to spray it themselves 🙈 door handle wasn’t your regular door handle size and apparently they had 6 people out to have a look at it who some said the part was obsolete and don’t make that size anymore others just didn’t get back to them, here at BP Locksmiths we don’t do walking away and managed to source , supply and fit 💪🏻

Pays of to be honest 😁 truthfully people a lot of locksmith parts can be expensive that’s why people dread ringing locksmiths as you hear about the horror stories of callout fees and other additional extras that they don’t tell you about over the phone (mainly England) if you choose local and take your time to do your homework it will pay of from being caught by these fraudsters . Full day today il do my best to get to any emergencies if not il be able to give you a fellow Locksmiths number who will hopefully be able to help. 🔑3 barrels replaced this morning for a customer who recently purchased a house in whitehead , can't stress enough if you’ve recently moved into a place get the locks changed as you just never know who has a set of keys

A caravan fitted out with child restrictors and sash jammers stoping the kids opening the windows more than needs be , also the higher sash jammer being out of reach will prevent the door being opened from the kids , no more locking the door then hanging your keys up
