Bartered sausages were a bit soggy.. could of done with a bit more cooking.. and peas were a bit hard.. tired to ring order in several times but no answer
DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE. Me and my girlfriend were going home after a day of work and we wanted some quick takeaway. We stopped into Bridies; I ordered the Chips n' Cheese and some nuggets and my girl ordered fish and chips. One thing i noticed was that the food wasnt fresh. It was set on a seperate cold grill and when the staff needed it they simply put it on the hot grill. They probably left the food there ovrrnight. It took ages for the staff to get our order finished. When I got it we went home to eat. I was disgusted! My chip n cheese was simply some lukewarm chips with a load of grated yellow cheese on top. The staff had simply taken a handful of chips and filled the box up to the brim with grated cheese, it was hardly edible. The nuggets were a bit better but made me feel horribly sick afterwards. My girl's fish was cold by the time we got home and the chips weren't much better. If you're looking for something new, don't go to Bridies.
Food was good. Great value
Great value, the staff are really efficient and the food is great. It is a proper chippie and although there are ones closer to us, my dad would not contemplate us getting food from anywhere else
Lovely fish, smaller portions than other bridies in the town but just as delicious
Quality fish and chips and a huge selection of other food
