Well I’m pleased to say that on Friday the 14th I passed the 18th Edition exam of the BS7671 Wiring Regulations, hopefully that’s me good for another 3 years 👍

Went from wiring this 400v table plasma cutter to putting in a few led floodlights and an outside socket in a house in Newtownards.

Kitchen job that got finished off this morning along with another consumer unit upgrade to give full 30mA RCD protection and MCBs for all circuits. General sockets now seperated from the kitchen sockets as we rewired those. That’s our 11th Cudis board fitted in the past 5 weeks, the light up lid is proving very popular with customers and 8 of those boards were full RCBO options to give full selectivity between circuits and avoid losing half your circuits under fault conditions. Today’s job, wiring a 50Amp 3 phase 400V sheet metal folding press for Graeme Warden Engineering.

Finished photo of the job in the link below. Now all painted after Mounting of TV & Soundbar and connecting Virgin TV box and Internet Hub to keep all wires hidden.

We contacted Brite Spark to do a full house rewire including garage and outside light. Job is fantastic, nothing was too much hassle.. I am very very fussy. So I 100% recommend.
