Wonderful restaurant and bar. Great food great service. Couldn’t of been happier.

We stayed for a 2 night stay.

Staff were friendly and efficient.

Our room was spacious, modem, very clean and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

We had breakfast both mornings and couldn't fault anything, it was very good. Maybe just one small criticism which is the coffee was not hot on either morning, but maybe the coffee machine just needs turned up, not a big issue, we could have asked for it to be heated.

We stayed for one evening meal also, there were 5 of us & each of us had a beautiful meal and again couldn't fault any of it.

We brought our pup on his first holiday & he also loved it.

Even though it's February & on the colder side of the year, this didn't matter, the rooms were nice and toasty for us coming back after our days out.

We will definitely be back as we all had a really nice time.

We my wife and I have stayed here a number of times over the last 2 years. Found it to be a Fantastic place the owner and the staff are super lovely people. Food and Drinks are super. The recently refurbished rooms are Beautiful 100% ++++. Would stay no where else.

We had a family meal here on sunday for a large group and I cannot thank the staff enough the food was beautiful and the staff were more than helpful, will definately be back

We had 1 nite stay with our wee dog rosie. Our room was spacious and spotless. We loved the food and staff were really lovely. A wee gem of a place with a lovely relaxed atmosphere will be back

Was my 60th birthday and my husband give me the choice of were I would like to go, Have been to the Brown Trout a few times before and it was my first choice again.

Rooms have all been refurbished and are spotless clean with a wet room which was great, food is second to none just beautiful. Staff are like old friends could not recommend this place enough.

Will be back real soon folks and thankyou for making us feel so welcome x

This quaint little idyll is an absolute must. A family owned gem where the welcome is as warm as the ever burning open fires. The staff, headed up by owner Jane are professional, friendly and attentive. The food is absolutely beautiful. Great value for money.

My mum and I were down over the weekend for our Birthdays it was fantastic from start to finish from the management right down to the cleaners everyone of them went out of their way to make sure everything was ok for us. The room was spotless the food was amazing and the entertainment was great. Met some lovely people it was my first time there and I definitely will be going back in the near future.A big thank you to everyone at the Brown Trout hopefully see you all again soon x

My husband and I have just got home after a 2 night break there. Had a fantastic time. Everything was brilliant. Room was very spacious, could not fault the food, it was beautiful, staff all very helpful and made us feel very welcome. Will definitely go back!

Love the Brown Trout cottages, have stayed here a couple of times with the dog, great amenities in the cottages and they leave you bread and milk and lovely wheaten bread, the staff are all lovely and food in the hotel is lovely and reasonably priced can’t wait to visit again.

Just home after the OESCNI show weekend at the brown trout and thanks from all of the committee and exhibitors for a lovely relaxed weekend with great hospitality.

It is 7 years since I last visited! What can I say the hospitality, the care shown but most of all the food ! My god the chef can cook! The most amazing meal ! I am just sorry due to circumstances with my family that I was unable to stay! But I vow to return with my family and stay ! Many many thanks ! Top class and would rate this 5 stars !

Amazing place. Excellent food..staff and very clean and tidy rooms. 1st time staying here but no way will it be the last. My wife and myself stayed here with our Daschund...ketchup lol even ketchup was treated super well by all the staff. Thank you Lynn and everyone else. See you all again soon.

Very disappointed booked in here with children as I had a sky dive to do in wild geese at 8.00am in the morning travelled from Belfast with three young children and due to the youngest 4 year old not being well and having a toothache we had to leave at 12 midnight and return home so we stayed for 4 hours received phone call the following day asking for full payment for the room will not be considering staying again as a good will gesture I thought yous would even took half the money of me for the room because we didn’t even stay or have breakfast which we were also charged for ......
