Oh were super excited its only 12 hours to the official start of Open Farm Weekend and we are looking forward to inviting everyone to our farm, We are a small farm using old fashioned production methods with a small farm shop where we prepare meat for sale from the animals on our farm and also buy from other small local farms.
During your visit you can see our flock of Great Taste Award Winning turkeys, they are two weeks old, which gives us the oldest flock of turkeys for Ch...ristmas, ask us why that is important.
The three little pigs and some adult turkeys and our flock of sheep which will be clipped during the day, take a look at some wool in it raw shape and imagine where your jumpers come from.
Ever wonder how you get your bowl of porridge for breakfast or the flake meal biscuits, it all can be answered on our farm.
And then our shop, butchery demonstrations, product samples just a little den perfect for the foodie, lets talk BBQ, Roasting, Slow cooked old fashioned cuts and find out what is in your food.
it will be a great day to be had by all both old and young bring a picnic sit on a few bales of straw and enjoy your lunch on our farm and have a natter with other visitor.

Its May Madness

It may seem early, but these are the first of the Kelly Bronze chicks going in to the incubator. As Paul Kelly rightly says roll on Christmas. Slow grown bronze birds grown to perfection! #yummy yummy 😋

What a year 2016 has been so many changes and so much has happened, but we would really like to thank all our customers for there support throughout this year, from the facebook orders which have been home delivered to the market sales at Inns Market and The Market at Ballyhackamore and The Pop-up Emporium along with the one off markets. it been a real ball and much fun despite the wet and windy Saturdays.
Then we started to sell meat every Friday from the shop from mid June ...on, with many saying no one will come but we have been delighted by the support from the local people in our new venture.
Christmas this year was amazing passing our expectations, with turkey orders coming from all of the six counties and London. I know we are a bit late, the work load the week before Christmas meant that we only had an average of 3 hours sleep each night, but we would just like to wish you all a Happy Christmas.

What a difference one weeks makes

Christmas has hatched on the farm. Our flock of Christmas turkeys arrived on Friday. Really excited and forgive me for the Christmas word at the start of June
