We just had a lovely breakfast at the bureau. Even though the breakfast menu wasnŌĆÖt on yet they still whipped us up a breakfast and a mini breakfast for the kiddies. Lovely morning thank you.

The server was amazing, unfortunately didn't get his name, we'll just call him The Legend for now. We went in for dinner and seen that the football match was on between Celta Vigo & Manchester United but none of the TV's were on in the restaurant. My Dad and I wanted to watch the match, we said to The Legend and he happily turned on the TV beside great seats, he had jokes about the match between serving us our meals and was a very polite fella. The food was beautiful, highly recommend the Sirloin. Give that server (The Legend) a medal. He had an accent not sure where he was from, so find him and give him that medal!

Thank you to all the staff at the Bureau for looking after us all last night.... a party of 15 isn't easy to feed at all at once! Tje food has really improved it was delicious, everyone throughly enjoyed it. My personal favourite was the mini beef & cheese burgers in a brioche bap with old school fat crunchy chips. Staff were friendly & able to have a laugh with us. We will be back!

Spent all day in the dog friendly beer garden, atmosphere was great and the staff couldnŌĆÖt have been more helpful. CanŌĆÖt wait to go back

Just home from treating my mum to the Mother's Day lunch. Food was beautiful and service was excellent! Could not fault it at all!!

I have read some of the reviews. Don't understand them. We had a fantastic meal. The service was outstanding. A young lady ncalled Erin looked after us really well. The food was excellent. My husband had a steak and when I explained that he was allergic to mushrooms Erin said she would explain to the chef and ensure that the cooking plate was cleaned before his meal was cooked. I had chicken and ribs which I thoroughly enjoyed. Overall it was a nice experience and I have no hesitation in recommending The Bureau to anyone

Was meeting up with a few friends for lunch. Plenty to choose from the menu. The Bang Bang Chicken, Lasagne & a Chicken Wrap with chunky chips were all ordered. Flavours all good. Empty plates said it all!!!! Thank you Lisa for your friendly approach & looking after us. Hope to be back again. ­¤śü

Recently started using the bar again as it is close to were we live. So far so good. Had a few bar meals and they were grand. Drink is a bit pricey but Guinness is good and beer is cold. No complaints

Staff good. Toilets stink...even before you reach them...not good when you are eating.

Meal was ok but my husband was served about 4 chips and underneath was just fried up.ends. they were replaced promptly.. For some reason the chef seems obsessed with serving food in small bowls. My hubbie had 3 bowls on 1 plate .

Nipped in for a quick beer with the young Lad yesterday, must admit, ┬Ż2.10 for a small bottle of coke is a bit rough

Came down to watch the match ordered a jug of long island iced tea to be told cocktail staff weren't in yet so settled for a pink gin no rose lemonade so took tonic. Before I went to get another drink I asked if the cocktail staff were in and was told they weren't serving cocktails today. Went to the bar ordered Jawbox and ginger ale sorry no honeycomb!!!! as I was paying saw someone mixing a cocktail asked once again are you serving cocktails to be told this time yes. In the space of an hour really absolute shambles. Off to the Lighthouse

certainly wont be going here again for food or drink. We were ages waiting and it was'nt busy. When the food came we were missing stuff, no staff to be found or no apologgy. I had a child that's two and she was giving a massive plate that wouldnt fit in her high chair along with a pint glass for her drink, she then spilled that drink and even after we told them they just left it there on the floor for us to stand in.

The chips tasted like fish, ovbiously the oil was not changed recently. The scallops were tasteless and rubbery.

No waiter or member of staff came to us during or meal to even check if things were ok.

As we were away with family we asked to split the bill to pay, this was also a issue huffing and puffing and told no at first. The man which looked like a manager behind the till didn't ask either if our meal had been ok.

I would advise anyone looking for some where nice to eat with good service to go else where as you will be dissapointed with this so called restaurant!

Worked here 7 years broke my back for them then I went on the sick and was treated badly wile on sick so I left and got new job only to find out I'm barred for 6 months after spending most of my working life with the bureau tho under Damien was perfect now has turned to shit they have no respect for anyone and have lost all my family and friends as customers they are pathetic will never step foot in this place again #joke#pathetic

What exactly happened to the bureau? It used to be rammed every weekend and the buzz was brilliant! Super staff and the craic was mighty....today tho we walked in for a drink to be left standing like two muppets. Four members of staff didn't even have the decency to acknowledge we were there and instead looked straight through us, after ten minutes we left.



Was also there last night and it was embarrassing to say the least with a handful of people in it. Well done the "bureau"....you've lost yet another customer. We're enjoyin our drinks in the lighthouse instead ’┐Į

Was just like to say I was in for a meal on New years day, with my family for my birthday, we all all totally disappointed at the quality off food served, seriously frozen chicken goujons, off a very poor quality, I could go on but would like to say very disappointed, I know it maybe was not a very busy day for you, but it would off be nice if the people who visited got good quality for giving you there custom

End of term, we were booked in for lunch, lots of other tables booked and very little staff on! Meal was mediocre but the biggest joke of all was, about 20 mins after arriving we were told the bar would not be making any single cocktails, just the jug that was on offer! We were told it was because they were short staffed and one of our party was asked "Will it really make a difference to your day if you don't get a cocktail?"

Anyway went to The Light House and were served fabulous cocktails with fresh fruit! We'll be booking elsewhere at the end of term next time!!

Don't even know where to start I'm completely gobsmacked with the service and quality of food in this place I don't know how you's are still open!!! Waited about 10 mins before getting the table the waiter just walked past us as if we weren't there. Then waited about another 20 mins before anyone would take our order. Had to send the drinks back as they were wrong and the drinks were flat. The main course was horrible for all of us there was a sour taste off the potatoes, the pork uncooked and cold, salmon over cooked everything was stinking. The waiter seemed to be smirking as we complained about the food, terrible customer service would never go back in a million years I'd rather shit in my hands and clap than ever eat here again.

BEYOND disappointed by the service received on Friday 30th June 2017. Bar staff refused to serve us cocktails 20 minutes after arriving. We were told staff was short and cocktails took too long to make. Even refused one of our party who requested a non alcoholic cocktail! We were then told that we could have cocktails after 2pm when more staff came on but in the meantime we could have the specialty cocktail jug costing ┬Ż12...that was it. When several of our party complained that we were paying customers...the response was "will the cocktails really make much difference to your day?"

Food was pleasant enough...but the table service was dreadful. Our 18 meals were dished out, we ate, then the bill was placed on our table. We had paid a deposit which had not been deducted and we had to challenge this matter. Not once were we approached to see if we were satisfied with the food etc. We were not offered tea/coffee nor a dessert menu. When I asked for a menu...no one came to take our order. So our decision was to pay up, leave and take our custom elsewhere! I have been a good customer to the Bureau since its opening many years ago. Needless to say...this was my last visit.
