With the festive season coming up, I've added a new range of lower cost boards. These are simpler face-grain construction and so the prices are in the £25 to £50 range, depending on timbers and sizes. Some of my work, mostly chopping/cutting boards of various types, designs and sizes, is now available in Gallery 1608, in Bushmills. Prices range from £12 to £140 - and beyond. Bugger! Just burned out the conveyor motor on my drum sander - that's at least £300 to fix. Worse than owning a clapped-out banger of a car. I've got both, so I know.

I'll be trading at the Folktown Market, in Bank Square, Belfast, for the next few Saturdays. Bank Square is just off Royal Avenue, near Castlecourt, and the market times are 12.00 - 5.00pm.

New saw now in place, and new planer due this week, so I'll be able to ramp up production, tackle more demanding tasks, and reduce my prices somewhat. I've added a few more end-grain boards to my Etsy shop, and reduced the prices, so do have a look.

The workshop upgrade saga continues. I've now invested in a new saw, and will be buying a new planer thicknesser as soon as my existing machine is sold to make room for it.
