It’s Friday and why not enjoy a prize winning red to celebrate the weekend? Our Château Tréviac Corbières Rouge 2016 strikes the perfect balance between rich berry fruit and liquorice spice. Sourced from the Languedoc region of France, it’s just been awarded a silver medal at the International Wine Challenge.

Wonderful evening for my 60th birthday with all my best friends and beautiful daughters. Scrumptious cake also, lots of passing customers asked who it was made by. So just look up CakesbyEllis. They’re magnificent

Thank you also to all the staff who were lovely the whole evening and very attentive. The food was delicious. It made a very special night complete. Thank you again

User

They never let u down here lovely food at a reasonable price and very helpful staff

User

Lovely setting by the river, great food and we had superb service, thank you Cote, was a nice start to our weekend away

User

Had a really nice lunch, staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Although I have to mention the loos on the lower level are very very small !..best to use the loo upstairs

Will definitely go back again when next in Windsor..

User

Got in on the off chance had a nice river window, food good with just the right amount for a comfortable meal, we had fish goujons and beof bourguignon.service excellent.

User

Glorious spot to relax and soak in the atmosphere of Eton, Windsor and the Thames. River-side seats plus more on several levels inside. Service kind, considerate and unobtrusive. A very happy hour or two or three when it was simply too roasting to be outside. Terrific food, served with grace and kindness. We can’t rate this place highly enough. See the Castle, dip into the town, stroll through Alexander Park, watch people and swans queue near to French Brothers’ landing stage then stroll across the bridge and while away your remaining time in Côte Brasserie. Great breakfasts, fab lunches. Will sample teas/dinner next year. Thank you C.B!

User

Food lovely and good value ( as with all of The Cote Brasseries I've visited). However, what makes this one really stand out are the fantastic Thames views from both inside the restaurant and it's terraces. Definitely the place to be on a warm summer's day like when we visited yesterday. Must also be lovely at night with all the lights on the river area. I imagine it's also a great winter venue if eating inside

User

Booked 3 months ago as it was an Xmas do for 7 ladies. When we got in table was a 6 seater with a chair stuck on the end, we said we were not happy so we said goodbye to Jeremy Kyle as he was next table and we were seated upstairs was much better we then got a complimentary glass of fizz which was lovely. Food was very hot and cooked well staff were helpful. Would go back and recommend.

User

I booked a table for 4 and wanted a river view which they said couldn't be 100%guaranteed but we did, it was a glorious eve overlooking the river by the open doors on ground floor, service was excellent from the minute we walked in till we left, a nice Sicilian waiter laughed and joked whilst serving us and the food was excellent too.

User

Fabulous evening with friends. Delicious food and friendly staff. Two of the party would have liked the Beef Bourguignon but they had sold out so a little disappointing for them hence the 4 star rating and not 5 .

Would go again any time .

Côte Brasserie in Windsor / Eton was hopping on a weeknight - so much so that we had to persuade the hostess to seat us. (She offered us a 9 pm booking when we arrived around 7:30; I was luckily able to make a reactionary online reservation for 7:45, which she honored.) Once we got to our table, we were treated to a lovely view of the river and (later) moon rising over Windsor Castle. Our charismatic and knowledgeable waiter Adel made excellent suggestions for our multi-course meal. We particularly enjoyed the French onion soup, calamari and goat cheese salad appetizers. The accompanying wines suggested by Adel were well paired. Our only criticism of our meal was that our medium-rare steak was much closer to medium; I would order rare next time. Overall a scenic venue with satisfying food and personable service!

User

Brunch is excellent. Always meet my besties here for brunch. A great deal and plentiful.

User

Very disappointing that the January wine offer wasn't made available to my partner when he booked my birthday dinner at the Windsor restaurant for 20th January online! Not only this, having had excellent dining experiences here in the past, the occasion was utterly spoilt by the cold, almost raw steak that I was served. My partner had to eat his main meal alone, as did I when a replacement meal eventually arrived. To be fair, your serving staff were very apologetic and deducted the price of my main course from the bill. However, it shouldn't have happened in the first place - how difficult can it be for a restaurant that bills itself as a French brasserie to cook a decent steak? We had been looking forward to the occasion, were very disappointed, and will think twice before visiting again.

User

Risotto tasteless, smoked salmon was a boring bit of salmon on a plate with raw onions and capers. Also overpriced. The only thing this place has going for it is it's location. The seats could do with a good clean too. Careful cote there are a lot if other eateries in Windsor. Giselle

User

It’s a super restaurant serving great food at a fab location, however it’s very clear to me that when it’s busy the staff can’t cope. I visited last night and the extra capacity outside seemed to have just pushed the staff to their limit. The service was poor, the complimentary aperitif had to be asked for it was very slow waiting to order, I asked for cutlery waited with my dinner never came, had to find an empty table and steal some. Last thing we were a party of 5 crammed onto the smallest table only really suitable for 3, we were not walk ins either we had booked. Don’t let my experience put you off the food is really great they just need a handle on their business when it’s busy

User

Nice food as always, but staff so blasé it was laughable. Very rude waiter who seemed annoyed that I needed more time to decide after he told me my first choice main was unavailable, when he eventually returned (think he left us as long as possible to teach us a lesson!) he then told my friend that her main was also unavailable. Had to ask three times for a bottle of water. Waiter who cleared our plates spilt the remains of moules frites all over the floor and my shoes and was in no rush to clear it up. Stars given are for food only.

User

My friend and myself were there last evening, food was good service was very good but to many children running around and shouting, they should have been told to be quite, we did tell our waiter it was bad but nothing was done about it, it has really put me off going to the restaurant again,

User

Total chaos ..... Despite making a booking we had to walk as no table available and seemed unorganised so went to the Italian down the street ....brill.

User

Terrible service. We waited 1 1/2 hours for food that never arrived apart from a bowl of olives. It took ages for the waiter to take our order, and that was only after we called him over. We gave up in the end and just left. Went to Nandos, got served within 10mins and it was packed !!!
