C21 Theatre Company

c21 Theatre Company is a professional organization based in Belfast. Founded in 2006, we are dedicated to providing audiences with high quality theatre that is entertaining, thought provoking and memorable. We strongly believe that as a touring company in Northern Ireland, audiences should have the opportunity to experience professional theatre. The Company has toured extensively to rural areas on numerous occasions around the country and continues to explore opportunities nationally and internationally. In January 2019 the Company, along with its business sponsor Doyle Shipping Group, won the Arts & Business NI Award for ‘Staff Engagement'. This was recognition for their ‘It Only Takes a Minute' project in 2018 that looked at Aspergers and disability in the work place. The production was seen by over 2000 young children aged 14-16 plus 1500 other audiences throughout NI and Scotland. The Company's Artistic Director Stephen Kelly travelled to Australia in 2015, Valencia in 2016 and Scotland in 2017 and 18 for cultural exchanges and performances.
