Cable wakeboarding could one day be an incredible sport for the summer Olympics.
Get Together 2018 is a skills and Good Relations focused program for gaining the experience and certifications required for working at waterparks in Northern Ireland or abroad. Open to All- not just youth leaders!!
The program is fully funded and so we'll cover your travel to and from the waterpark, lunch and all your certifications.
You will receive- a first aid cert, water rescue training, cable park operation training, light vessel handling, and also learn how to coach ba...sic wakeboarding.
The program starts this week so get in touch now to book your space.

Cable and Wake Team
Community Watersports Co has been operating and managing watersports events and programs for 6 years. This September and early October we are running an executive funded Good Relations focused program which will also equip the attendees with the skills and experience required to help gain employment in the watersports industry in Northern Ireland and abroad.

Project dates/times;... Wednesday 19th - Friday 21st (12-4pm) Monday 24th - Wednesday 26th (12-4pm)

ACTIVITIES
Delivery of first aid certifications, delivery of 5 hr cable operation, basic wakeboard coaching and Water Rescue Training, light vessel handling experience.
BBQ social and celebration event. Certifications will be presented to the young people-including first aid/water rescue, 5 hr cable operation, basic wakeboard coaching. Young people will celebrate achievements.

Took my children here yesterday and myself and friend decided to give it a go as well. Kids absolutely loved every minute of it and so did we... I fell off and couldn't get back up so give up, but it was the best laugh and fun we have had in ages. I'll definitely be back xx

Sam, massive thanks for helping me to arrange today’s Dromore Central P7 Leavers Event @ the Aquapark, the kids all had an absolute ball! Parents were so impressed with the staff and safety support and guidance on the water during the kids session, the food was really delicious with excellent portions and all staff extremely friendly and helpful, lots of the parents didn’t know of your existence but one actually booked on the spot for next weekend and another very keen on the pods, I think you will see a good few families back again after todays trip, can’t thank you enough for making the planning so easy x sending love and huge congrats on a fantasy venture of which I’ve no doubt will bring great success xxxx �

Highly recommend, it was busy at the time we booked so ended up going into next session, but staff were extremely helpful and apologetic re this. My son would have issues re crowds/personal space, but the young man at reception sorted private changing area for him straight away once I spoke to him. Fantastic day out, will definitely be back!
Had my sons birthday party here and they all had a great time. Nothing was a bother to the staff and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Food was great too and the coffee!
Great fun! The changing facilities are a let down though, changing rooms are lorry containers (one male, one female) very narrow with no privacy at all and no lockers for your belongings. Also floor could do with those plastic mats you get in some swimming bath changing rooms as floor in changing rooms and where you get wetsuits a bit waterlogged. The course itself seems small but is great fun once you're out on it and the time flies by. We had a ball. Would recommend anyone to give it a go �
Fantastic trip! Staff v helpful and friendly. Life guards excellent and engaged well with kids to make experience extra special. Very excited about seeing this gem develop! Hoping camping facilities will be in place for summer!
Excellent kids had an absolute ball, great helpful staff.... think thou overall price should include wetsuit hire, could run to an expensive day out... would love to try the pods and bbq for a family overnight trip, a park shop and more facilities onsite would be fab & local but that does take time, didn’t find any info on these get advertising definitely would be up for spending a day/night here.
Brought my P6 class for their end of year trip. Sam was extremely understanding when our transport was late & the kids still got their full time in the water. Everyone had a brilliant time and all staff were very helpful!

I had my daughter’s 10th Birthday Party � there today and I can’t recommend it enough for something different and so much fun.
The staff were amazing, especially Samantha, the facilities brilliant and the food gorgeous and reasonably priced. Everyone had such a good day. Thank you � to all the staff. We can’t wait to go back!!!!

The kids had an absolute blast! The inflatable session was a HUGE hit and the BBQ food after, was fantastic...

Absolutely brilliant place. Great value. Kids had a ball. We also had something to eat. A burger, chips and drink for £5 and it was a decent size burger. Fabulous for a family day out. And the staff were amazing. So friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit �
Absolutely amazing. Were here this morning as a small group of 5 people. Great facilities, easy parking and the inflatables are great fun, especially 'the blob' will definately be booking again. Staff are fab and very helpful, top marks for health and safety of visitors to the park.
A great fun filled afternoon out in the fresh air and sunshine at the aqua park & it’s in Belfast!
Marty was friendly & professional, fantastic at encouraging my youngest (age 7) who’s not very confident in the water but by the end of it was jumping off the high slide.
Great value for money & the option to bring your own wetsuit or hire one from the park.
Changing rooms & toilet facilities were clean & tidy.
There is lovely coffee shop for those less adventurous to sit & chill with a cuppa with gorgeous views of the park.
Definitely would recommend it good clean fun and the kids will definitely sleep after a trip here! Get booked in we will be back!
A great day at Cable & Wake water park. All staff very friendly and helpful, could maybe be doing with a microphone for the safety talk. The only thing really that needs addressing is the parking, but it's still early days. All in all we had a great day and will definitely be re-booking again 👍 🙂
Had a lovely afternoon with family, I didn't go into water due to health reasons, kids had a ball, weather made it even better we didn't hire Wet suits and kids aged 11 were 100% fine without them, we had booked dinner at a hotel for afterwards but we're sorry we didn't take the meal deal as it smelled and looked great, however we will go again soon, maybe very very soon 🚣🏼🏊🏼🏄🏼

The changing facilities are a let down though, just one small changing room (one male, one female) but it's like a gas chamber and no privacy at all in it and no lockers for your bags/belongings. The course itself seems small but is great fun once you're out on it and the time flies by - don't think any of us made it round the whole thing in one go! Would recommend anyone to give it a go �
Really disapppointed today..... whilst I was getting my baby of 6 1/2 mths sorted into her pram the rain came on really heavy..... started walking down the path to watch friends and family....to find steps and no way down with a pram.... went back to the car as the rain was terrible!
Asked could I drive down below through another entrance where I saw cars parked...., was told that it was disabled parking!
Ok so how do I get down with a young baby?
So I walked down with my little one in my arms and when I got down no high chairs nothing!!! Compared to Edge water etc The facilities are terrible and no where to shower!!
This all needs looked at definitely won’t be back!
