Café Rouge - Windsor

In the 2 years since I have been dairy free due to my daughters allergies, this has been the most helpful and accommodating place I have eaten! �



My daughter is egg and dairy free, myself dairy free, when I explained this to a member of staff, he actually listened, took it seriously, made recommendations on what would suit my daughter best, and brought out allergy information sheets for me, for both the main menu and kids menu.



I cannot explain how grateful I was for this! Eating out can often be a rather stressful experience.... I’ve been turned away, huffed and puffed at, given food that still contained dairy, and made to feel like a complete inconvenience, more times than I care to remember. But not today. Thank you Cafe Rouge!



Oh, and I should probably mention that the food was lovely too!

Had breakfast which was very enjoyable- service was good - no waiting - waiter was very hospitable to our family.

All the staff were efficient and very helpful. The food was gorgeous so I'm defo going back - and soon.

Be careful with kids menu, ordered macaroni cheese for 3 year old, came out with loads pesto and pine nuts!

Honestly can’t remember if was stated on menu but not good.

Kids crudités dry and inedible..
