A massive thank you to Captain Declan O’Kane of OMAGH GOLF CLUB for choosing to support Cancer Focus NI on his captain’s day and, more specifically, the Gina Carrigan Forget Me Not Fund. All funds raised stay in Northern Ireland to help local cancer patients and their families.

As part of its Oncology Services Transformation Project, the Health and Social Care Board wants to know what matters to you, and would like to hear your views on how they can improve cancer services in Northern Ireland.
The focus of the project is the patient pathway from diagnosis through treatment processes for chemotherapy and radiotherapy. This does not include treatment for blood cancers or treatment through surgery.

These five girls - Erin, Keri, Alex,Chloe and Maria - made homemade lemonade and orange juice as well as buns and sold them to their neighbours during their summer holidays, raising a bumper £135.34 for us.
One of the girls also used our family support service when her mum was unwell.
Well done girls, you're all stars! 💫🍩🥤✨

Our Care in the Sun team are Mid and East Antrim Borough Council summer camps this week and next, reminding everyone to Be UV aware and enjoy the sun safely! ☀☀

Can you help? Our fantastic volunteers who drive cancer patients to hospital appointments have covered 4,598 miles in four years.
Now, we urgently need more volunteers to help us meet demand for this essential service.
Our drivers operate across the South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust, Belfast Health and Social Care Trust and Newtownabbey areas.
... If you are over 21, have a clean driving licence, enjoy meeting people and have a day or two month to spare each month, we’d love to hear from you.

Ben Mooney from Crawfordsburn recently completed a 10,000m challenge and raised a fantastic £550 for Cancer Focus NI.
His challenge involved climbing 10,000 meters across various mountains in Ireland - an amazing achievement!

Cancer Focus NI and the British Dental Association have joined forces to insist that the HPV vaccine is extended to boys in Northern Ireland.
Boys in England, Wales and Scotland are to be given the vaccine and we are calling for funds to be made available in NI too.
Cancer Focus NI has been campaigning for the jabs for five years. The vaccine can guard against oral, throat and anal cancers as well as cervical cancer.

My mum and I received lovely manicures today at the city hospital. Thank you to Moira with cancer focus ni. An unexpected and much enjoyed treat.

I set up a stall at the Waggy Woodland Walk at Stormont and the Cancer Focus NI team couldn't have been more helpful! Suzie, Sarah, Jim to name a few...thankyou all so much for a great experience and keep up the awesome work!

First class !! Very helpful and friendly. Thanks for all your support and help in organising this charity event in memory of my Father (Oliver Boyle), who sadly passed away 2nd February 2014 from Cancer.

Cancer focus ni supported me in the hardest year of my life when I lost my adoptive mum and birth mum within 4 months of each other to the day with cancer, we also lost a much admired team member who felt like a family member a 17 yr old family member, a 32 year old family member a mum of 3 ..... At a time when I felt broken , vulnerable, and overwhelmed by TV ads the words death and cancer .......cancer focus ni were my listening ear, my support and I will be eternally grateful to them and my dear counsellor Barbara who helped pull me from the deepest darkest place I thought I'd never ever escape from she helped me escape and regain a better state of mental health and well being :) .......

Brilliant charity and the girls and guys working here are all fab!! They’ve helped me so much in raising awareness for Cervical Cancer and trying to get more ladies to attend their smear tests! Can’t wait for my abseil on 20th May!! The countdown begins eeeeeeekkk!! Xx
