Cara-Na-Mara

Cara- Na-Mara is a beautiful, recently renovated 2 bedroom cottage overlooking the sea In Killough County Down.

Space
The cottage is recently converted, to reveal a beautiful original stone wall. We have a dual heating system which consists of a multi burner stove and oil fired heating. We have underground heating in the living room. All fuel e. g. Logs coal and oil is included in the price. We will leave the fire set to light on your arrival. We leave milk, butter, bread, tea , coffee, bacon, eggs and wheaten bread for all guests. The cottage has a lovely garden which is very child friendly and which gets the evening sun ( perfect for bar-b-ques in the summer). There is parking directly outside the house.


Guest interaction
I myself or my co host will be there on arrival to welcome guests and handover keys and to talk guests through the basic workings of the cottage, fire, heating, water, cooker, fridge, washing machine, wi-fi. There is also a house manual with all details in the cottage. etc. I will always be available on the phone or e mail whilst the guests are there. I can be in the cottage within an hour if required.

Restaurants;
Ardglass. . . . . . . . 2 miles out to the left. Aldos. Just opposite Ardglass Golf Club. Really lovely food. No need to book in less Christmas, Easter, New Year etc. Ardglass Golf Club Beautiful location, overlooking the sea. Good menu, ranges from burgers and sandwiches to main meals. No need to book for lunch. Doc's Fish and Chips Carry out or sit in Will deliver to cottage Doyle's Casual, not licensed.
