Caraderm Description

Caraderm Usage:
The healing benefits of seaweed are abundant and used topically Caraderm may help soothe skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, rashes and sunburns. It soothes red, itchy inflamed skin and has been beneficial following tattoos and waxing.

The seaweed used in our lotion supports the skins natural moisture barrier, keeping harmful, drying external elements out and beneficial moisture in. Caraderm is easily absorbed through the pores in the skin enhancing the skins ability to retain vital moisture and essential lipids.

The natural anti-inflammatory properties alleviate the symptoms of arthritis and relieve muscular aches and painful joints.

Our seaweed includes 15 of the 18 elements that make up the human body, including vitamins A, B, C, and D, which help nourish the skin. It is also an excellent source of life-enhancing minerals and nutrients such as sulphur compounds, protein, zinc, calcium, pectin, iron, B-vitamins, magnesium and vitamin C.

Caraderm contains Taurine, which is an essential amino acid. In research, taurine significantly stimulated the synthesis of all three classes of barrier lipids (ceramides, cholesterol, and fatty acids) in reconstructed epidermis (Journal of cosmetic science 2006). By stimulating production of these essential components, the stratum corneum can be rebuilt. L-taurine assists in the repair of tissue following chemical peel and dermabrasion treatments, improves wound healing (post operative and burns), acts as an anti-inflammatory, and provides ant-oxidants to the skin to eliminate damaging and skin aging free radicals.
