Can reflexology help with morning sickness and if so , how?
Doctors aren't sure exactly what causes morning sickness, but the most popular theory is that morning sickness is the body's reaction to the pregnancy hormone, human Chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), which is produced at higher levels during the first trimester than at any other time during pregnancy.

By stimulating, sedating and balancing certain points on the feet and hands many women find relief from the debilitating effects of morning (afternoon or evening) sickness. Just a little heads up 😁 I am currently working with Go For It to open Mid Ulsters first Reflexology Clinic as a Sole Trader in a retail unit on the Main Street. All while trying to work Full Time 😅 As soon as the premises are ready I will reveal more. When I open I will be opening 6 days per week this will mean I will have greater flexibility to offer appointments.... Its all very exciting. This is something which Ive wanted to do for a long time. Following advice from my midwife to give reflexology a try in my third trimester I got in touch with Claire and began to have weekly sessions. I’ve known Claire all my life having grew up just across the road from her. Claire is amazing at what she does. I was able to relax and zone out at all of her sessions. Another benefit that the sessions had on my pregnancy was that I didn’t suffer from any swelling. I would fully recommend Claire and will go back for more sessions in the future as a treat to myself. .�
