Congratulation’s to the rnli_911 team on fully completing their challenge of visiting all 238 RNLI Lifeboat stations in under 911 hours from all at Carrybridge RNLI.
Carrybridge Lifeboat & Rescue Water Craft were requested to launch this morning, Saturday 22/09/18 at 9.33am to reports of an unmanned canoe which had drifted into reeds approx one mile upstream from Carrybridge. Once on scene the canoe was located by the crew, recovered onto the Lifeboat and brought ashore. Further investigation had established that the canoe had broken free from where it was moored in the recent Storm Ali.
A person was recovered from the water yesterday evening in the Muckross area, near Kesh. The family are in the thoughts and prayers of all at Carrybridge RNLI
We were delighted to welcome James & Belinda Richardson today while undertaking their own fundraising challenge of visiting all 238 RNLI Stations in 911 hours. Keep an eye out for them in their Orange Porsche 911. We wish them a safe onward journey. Best wishes from all at Carrybridge RNLI.

Great fundraising by some young people and Lifeboat crew on the Lower Lough. Well done.

Call-Out 1 - Saturday 25/08/18. Carrybridge Lifeboat and its Rescue Water Crafts (RWC) launched on Saturday 25/08/18 at 9.38pm, on the request of Belfast Coastguard to search for a 24 foot cruiser which had become disoriented and lost in the dark. Once the vessel was located approx 1 mile downstream from Carrybridge it was found to have 3 persons on board. Both vessel and persons on board where found to be safe & well. The Lifeboat towed the vessel into deeper water & both ...the Lifeboat and RWC’s escorted it back to its private mooring.
Call-Out 2 - Saturday 25/08/18 Also whilst in the process of escorting the initial vessel back to its mooring, the Lifeboat was alerted on Saturday 25/08/18 at 10.05pm by a member of the public in the vicinity of Carrybridge, that their dog was in the water, struggling to stay afloat & unable to get out again. The Lifeboat crew swiftly diverted from their initial call-out & recovered the small dog from the water & returned it to its owner who was very grateful for the Lifeboat crews assistance & quick response, which saved his dog from drowning. The Lifeboat then returned back to its initial call-out. #RNLI #Respectthewater
