A date for your diaries. Only 3 weeks to go.
Choreographed by Teresa Quigg to represent the people and rolling hills of county Down, this is a beautiful Set Dance.
All welcome. No need for a partner and no charge for first taster class.
The evolution of the Carryduff Set Dancing Club was illustrated last night when Maura showed us a newsletter from 1993. The photographs show how the original Ceili Dancing club began set dancing classes in Carryduff in October of that year. The original advertisement for the classes is there. The Ceili Club seems to have existed for a least 10 years before 1993. So 26 years later, a big contrast with our Facebook page today.
Smart man that Sam Beckett.
