i just spent 3 days here with my husband and 4 kids. we had a lovely time exploring the many bike and walking trails. took a wee run out to white island with on the ferry as ut was toi choppy take boat ourselves. playground was fantastic. we had a very enjoyable time here. very quiet at nite for the kids to get to sleep.

User

We stayed over the Halloween weekend, there was 10 of us in total and not one was of us had a bad word to say about the place. It was a fantastic weekend and both adults and kids enjoyed every minute.Staff were so friendly and really made us feel welcome. Well done to Carol and all the staff for making it a weekend to remember. We can't wait to go back in March for St Patrick's weekend. Keep up the good work.

User

Staff at castlearchdale are very helpful and friendly and so are many of the residents in the caravan site. The new pillow is great for kids at £1 entrance it is a bargain.they are

always putting entertainment on for the site. Unfortunately you can never please everyone and people always find something to complain about but overall it is a very well run establishment and unfortunately they can't be held responsible for everyone in it.

User

My family and me were out walking today and popped in to the shop to try the new bubble waffles....they are AMAZING! Gregg and the staff were super helpful and friendly and they make the most delicious waffles! A must try if your down in the area!

User

Just back from a wonderful couple of days at Castle Archdale in our Campervan, the facilities are brilliant, the location is stunning with activities to suit all ages. Already looking forward to our next visit.

User

Great place busy for the RAF show well run with lots of facilities look forward to going back

User

Great location, play park was fab, washrooms were always clean no matter what time of the day, staff were professional n friendly. We arrived tarmac or grass left we opted for tarmac as it was to rain most the weekend was a little shocked to see what looked like a car park with electric hookup tbh it was grand. We would go back without a second thought

User

**Top Tip Do not listen to the bad reviews **

After reading some of the bad reviews on here last week , we were on two minds to go Camping in Castle Archdale . We arrived here on Saturday morning and paid for only One night to see how it was . The kids had that much fun on Saturday that we decided to Stay Sunday night aswel . Everything was Top Class .Staff were all 100% and could'nt do enough to help . Excellent Chippy , Shop ,Park and Pub . Kids had a great time at the disco . Zero noise after 11oClock ,(Security doing there rounds) . Everything was clean and tidy . Free hot Showers .

This is a nice site, but the owners have to get on top of the partying at night time! It was excessive, and sad to hear young children being dragged crying back to their own tents at 3am while their parents roared at each other. Excellent management by day, but not by night. Kids loved the buggy hire from the marina and the pop up greek restaurant on site is fabulous! We had a standard pitch and it was lovely. Nice spots to be had if you take your time to have a look around.

User

Just back after 3 nights of camping for the first time. Myself my husband and 2 boys loved it! Great place with lots to do. We had a bit of a muddy patch so we will upgrade next time but would definatley recommend. Lovely clean facilities and helpful friendly staff. Thankyou for a great weekend!

User

Went here for the first time last weekend for 2 nights. We had a brilliant time because of our company and the park but the staff in the restaurant are something else.. and none of the staff seem to have a clue what to do. To cut a long story short.. After someobe finally finding us a menu.. We waited 45 minutes for food even though the place was empty. When it came out i explained it wasnt what we ordered to which the girl replied 'well its on the plate now' to which i replied well could you take it back please. So 4 adults got their food while 6 kids had to wait a further 15 mins to which i had to ask again was their food coming and no1 knew again. 5 mins later the food was set on the bar to which i had to walk up and get myself.. which was still wrong. And no1 knew who to make a complaint too. Our pitch was also impossible to put our pegs in the grass was that hard. But the company we were in and the park were what made it fantastic. Staff would put me off coming back. Never met more rude unhelpful staff. (Apart from 2 wee girls in the shop which were lovely bt thats the only 2)

Our first time away in our new caravan was a very wet st Patrick's weekend but if the weather had of been better it would of been far more enjoyable. That's not the issue here, parents of younger children take heed here - my oldest son who is 8, and his wee friends were playing in the park, which was more or less empty due to the weather and a group of older children approached them, saying that the park was "theirs" and for them to "f" off. Now, my son being my son, answered them back. One of the older boys, knocked my boy to the ground then proceeded to punch him in the private area, that's assault and he's lucky I didn't see him. These bullies are in the statics and think they own the place. This was our first time ever away in a caravan and my son is completely put off now. We reported this to the office when we were leaving and to be fair they were very good about it and we will probably be back because the place is really nice but I'll be supervising my children anymore. This is the only issue I had.

User

Hi I went with my three children to castle Archdale yesterday and it was beautiful to have a lovely walk then we took the children to the park afterwards which was a brilliant facility and the children had a ball what a was slightly cross about was the fact that we had to pay for the children and ourselves I don't mind paying for the children but I am there to keep a watchful eye on my children that's it , I have been to many parks around Fermanagh and never had to pay , I think what you do have to remember is that when the tourist are gone it's the community around you that will be there to support you

User

Well, as the sayin goes......been ther done that & got the tee shirt an defo WON’T be back !!

Crammed in like sardines.....an what in God’s name they mean when they describe the Deluxe Sites an Superior Sites is anyone’s guess ! Deluxe sites are suppose to be separated by beautiful hedging an have a picnic bench.... the pitches are rotten dirty spaces divided with weeds an picnic benches well ya defo wudnt sit at/on them !

£30 per night is a disgrace for these sites ! We thought we wer goin to a beautiful site nestled along a stretch of lower Lough Erin .....soooo not the case.

We are defo really easy pleased but this takes the piss tbh

User

Stayed here over Easter and was really disappointed with the site. It was in the corner and couldn't even get the car out because the caravans were so close together. Had to ring security at 0500 in the morning due to excess noise ( would assume they should be doing rounds). Also had to go back and use shower at a later time, as no pressure. Cleaner told me to try later... had booked for July but cancelled it and wasn't even asked why? Oh and lost my deposit. Truly disappointed with the lack of customer service.

User

Sitting here at midnight unable to sleep with a full blown party going on in static mobiles and no one around to calm it down, my kids got bullied and harassed by the new "permanent residents" living here the " no commercial vehicles " sign really means park them at reception and walk down to your caravan!! (2 outside one Hobby Caravan on site) This place has gone to the dogs.. Get me out of here tomorrow and never to return. I thought I was going to a "holiday caravan park"...my mistake.

We reported this to the office when we were leaving and to be fair they were very good about it and we will probably be back because the place is really nice but I'll be supervising my children anymore. This is the only issue I had.

Stayed here over Easter and was really disappointed with the site. It was in the corner and couldn't even get the car out because the caravans were so close together. Had to ring security at 0500 in the morning due to excess noise ( would assume they should be doing rounds). Also had to go back and use shower at a later time, as no pressure. Cleaner told me to try later... had booked for July but cancelled it and wasn't even asked why? Oh and lost my deposit. Truly disappointed with the lack of customer service.
