Castle Rhythmic Gymnastics Club started in the 1980’s when it was recognised that there was a demand for an alternative aspect of gymnastics. Gymnasts who had a good range of flexability, and showed a flare for ballet and dance were looking to combine these skills along with the coordination required for apparatus handling.
An exclusively feminine discipline, rhythmic gymnastic structures have been developed, refined and orientated towards a unique and exclusive form of sports competition.
Over the years gymnasts from C. R. G. C. have competed in regional and international competitions; representing the Club at British, Irish and European Championships, their schools at the British School’s Rhythmic Championships and even their country in the Commonwealth Games.
Castle offers classes for beginners, recreational and elite performers.
We have several coaches at Castle club from assistant to performance coaches to cater for every need.
