Castlederg Baptist Church

Castlederg was alive this morning with characters from the Easter story! Around 50 children and their families enjoyed the trail taking them around town, meeting everyone from a Roman Centurion to doubting Thomas. It was a great morning for Impact Castlederg, as the focus was on the truth of the Easter message, that Jesus is alive!

All welcome to join us on Easter Sunday morning at 11:00am when Ryan Patterson, Omagh Baptist Church, will share with us from God's Word. Refreshments for all afterwards.

Thursday morning we're hosting a Kidz Easter Trail, starting at 10:30am. You'll follow a trail around town and meet some Bible characters who will give their account of the Easter story. Come along, this will be a great way for children to discover why we celebrate Easter. All families welcome...parents, you'll enjoy it too! Teenagers are meeting in the afternoon for a street give-away and then a film...plenty of pizza too!

Impact Castlederg events are on this week! Wednesday evening at 7:30pm we're showing the film "The Case for Christ", based on the true story of Lee Strobel, a journalist, who tried to disprove the claims of Christ, and ended up discovering the Truth for himself. With Easter approaching there are some things going on that you wont want to miss! On Tuesday evening, 8:00pm, we have our Bible Study & Prayer Focus with Irish Baptist College student, Jude Colhoun. As part of Impact Castlederg we're hosting the film "The Case for Christ" on Wednesday at 7:30pm. There'll be a bookstall too and refreshments will be available for everyone! On Thursday at 10:30am we are the starting/finishing point for "Kidz Easter Praise Party & Trail". This will be a great event for all children, who will follow a trail around the town and meet some Bible characters along the way who will tell about their part in the Easter story...a fun morning for families!

On Wednesday 17 April, as part of Impact Castlederg: Easter 2019, we're hosting a Movie with a Message at 7:30pm. The film we'll be watching is "The Case for Christ", which follows the path of journalist Lee Strobel as he seeks to question the claims of Christ...and ends up discovering the Truth. Do plan to come along. It's a great film. There'll be a bookstall as well... and we couldn't have a film without popcorn!

You're all welcome to join us on Sunday at 11:00am when Stephen Archer (Portadown Baptist Church) will be teaching from God's Word. There is Sunday School during the service for children and refreshments for all afterwards. Come along!

Getting ready for Impact Castlederg : Easter 2019! If you can offer some help in preparing give-way Easter gifts, drop in to the Methodist Hall at 7:30pm, Wednesday evening.

On Tuesday evening we're travelling to Richill Park Baptist Church, Londonderry, for a North West Churches Missionary Focus with Matt Tuttlebee. Matt will share about the work of Baptist Missions in Co. Donegal. Wednesday morning sees the last in our series of Bible Studies for women. Come along at 10:30am and find out about 'The Promise of Hope', from Genesis 4. All welcome!
