Causeway Coastal Route Description
This page compliments www. causewaycoastalroute.com a web project orginally started in 1998. Images are taken along the route or one of its nine scenic drives. The route takes in some of the most spectacular scenery in Ireland as it follows the coastal road around the north coast. Here you will pass through the ancient kingdom of Dalriada where many of the great myths and legends of Ireland have their roots and where St Patrick began his early missionary work. It is also home to the Giants Causeway and Glens of Antrim.
