Such a unique idea to raise funds for #yourCharis. A Yogatastic event on the 20th December. Great way to get your zen on at the mouth of Christmas. Phillip is also such a wonderful supporter so help if you can. #CharisCommunity #inthistogether #thankyou

Marian Gallagher is pictured with Holistic Therapist Claire after handing over a cheque for £320 which was raised at a "Tropic Skincare Pamper Party" at her house in gratitude for the care her sister Patricia and her family have received at Charis House. They have been a joy to walk this journey with and it has been our pleasure to have had their company over recent months. Sincere thanks are extended to Marian, Patricia and all those who supported her fundraiser. #CharisCommunity #inthistogether #thankyou

It was most definitely not like this today at Charis where the wind and rain were very much in control, however, they never stay too long and the sun always comes out again. #sunshineinyourheart #CharisCommunity #wildandwindy Photograph courtesy of Noreen Boyd

Shannon Graham from Slaughtneil pictured donating £3182 to Trustee Jarlath Conway after competing in the Sea 2 Summit Duathlon in Westport on the 10th November. After 56km of blood, sweat and tears, Shannon has returned to tell tale. Already an accomplished athlete, Shannon was delighted to have raised such a massive sum and we join her in extending our sincere thanks all her supporters. Especially we thank Shannon though for making such a massive effort for #yourCharis #thankyou #CharisCommunity #inthistogether

What can we say about the fantastic Brendan O' Neill and his wonderful clan, headed up by the inspirational Brian and Colette?! They are tireless supporters of, and advocates for, Charis Cancer Care and they, with their extended family and friends, along with their compadres in the Emerald Garrison have raised an incredible £5676 since May for #yourCharis. We are so grateful and they all hold a special place in our hearts so thank you so much from everyone in the #CharisCommunity. The family have also asked for a special thanks from them to be extended to the members of the Emerald Garrison for all their help and support to Brendan as well. #inthistogether

Isn't Charis House already starting to look very festive?! Such a lovely atmosphere anyway but made even more special with the twinkling lights and lots of Christmas cheer.
The Friends of Charis Shop Christmas sale starts on Saturday at 10am and they have over 20 Christmas trees for sale, as well as gifts galore. All proceeds go to support the work at Charis House. Call in and enjoy a cup of tea and a mince pie on us. Would be lovely to see you. #CharisCommunity #inthistogether

Time is a-moving on folks! Not long now until the night of the year at the The Ryandale Inn where you can let your hair down and boogie to the hits of the 80s. Proceeds shared between Charis Cancer Care and the Alzeimer Society. The organisers also have this message as well for anyone interested:
"We want to make sure everyone has a great time at our 80’s night, 🍾🍺🍷🍸and keep everyone safe on the roads, so Rita Glass is organising a bus. The bus will leave from Maghera with stops in Magherafelt and Cooktown. Message her ASAP to book your seat. Payments can be made for bus or tickets by sending a private message to Marie Donnelly!"

Veronica Morris was delighted to have had the opportunity to present to a group of staff from the Executive Office today as part of their Talk For Your Health Programme. Thanks are extended to Trustee Margaret McAteer for giving us the opportunity to spread the message about Charis Cancer Care and our work to this important group. Thanks also to Teresa Dorrian who co-ordinates the programme for setting it up. #CharisCommunity #inthistogether

I cant thank everyone at Charis enough for the wonderful care and treatment I received from them when I was going through my chemotherapy treatment for breast cancer. They lifted my spirits as they were so full of positivity and kindess to me and my family. There was always a smile and a laugh. I came away after each visit feeling I could tackle whatever came my way. Thank you all so much.xx

I cannot recommend this place enough. From the first time I visited Charis I was impressed. There s an uplifting feeling as I turned the corner to see the lake and the Charis building.. I cannot express how uplifted and relaxed I felt. The staff are brilliant. There's a true feeling of peace and tranquillity as soon as I step in the door.. My dearest friend was diagnosed with cancer and I had the previlage to accompany her to charis.. We truly love this place. I'm not a religious person but this place has that atmosphere that heaven is here. To all the staff I have to give each one a huge thank you. Just love it xXxX

Charis was a sanctuary to our family during a very difficult and worrying time. The staff and place offer comfort, empathy and a sense of hope to all who pass through their doors. Thank you.

Charis is an asolutely amazing charity. I would highly recommend anyone who is dealing with or who has dealt with any form of cancer, and also friends and family members who support them to pay a visit. The area is very peaceful and the scenery is breathtaking. Charis provide many different therapies for the client which can help both physically and emotionally. I personally loved being there as it was very homely and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. This charity is donation based only and every donation counts. Thank You for having us today!

Blissfulness. A place of deep inner healing. The spiritual things cannot always be explained
