About City Of Derry Bowling Club
City of Derry Bowling Club formed in 1980 based at Lisnagelvin bowling green is an outdoor bowls club open to everyone. Come give it a try!
City Of Derry Bowling Club Description
City of Derry Bowling Club is based at Lisnagelvin bowling green owned by Derry & Strabane District Council.
The club is open April to September on weekdays from 1. 30pm to dusk and Saturdays from 1. 30pm to 5pm.
The club is open to everyone to come and try, to be a member you have to pay seasonal green fees to the council by paying at Foyle Arena of £35. 50 per adult or £17. 75 for juniors or 65 + .
To be a member of City of Derry Bowls Club however you need to pay an additional £20.
It is a great friendly game that anyone can play, there is plenty of club equipment for you to borrow to begin with the only thing you'll need to buy is flat soled shoes so as to not damage the green so really there's no reason not to come and give it a try!

Great result yesterday as City of Derry Bowling Club senior team secured another 5 points, this time against Limavady in a great game that was decided by the last bowl, if Kyle Lynch hadn't drew the final shot then it would have been 3.5 points to each team. Although most of the credit has to go to Simon Donaghy and his rink who won by 17 shots to give us a chance at the overall! And we only had a couple of rain showers and some hail...
