Clare Veterinary Group require a Part Time Veterinary Receptionist to work in our busy Hospital premises in Ballyclare and in our branch surgeries at Whiteabbey, Cavehill and Carrickfergus.
The role will be to provide a high level of customer service with some administration and housekeeping duties. The candidate must possess good people skills, flexibility and the ability to work as part of a team. Previous customer service experience would be an advantage.
The position... will be a temporary position to cover maternity leave, with the view to possible permanency in the future. Hours will be set in the region of 15 – 20 hours per week, to include Saturday mornings. Opportunity will be given to increase weekly hours when holiday or sickness cover is required and the desired candidate should be flexible enough to assist with extra hours required if necessary.

Would like to thank the staff who came out to our house when our fur baby Oscar needed to be put to sleep, they were kind and compassionate and made a hard job more bearable for us. Oscar always hated going to the vets and we wanted to make the end as relaxed as we could.

Registered our new puppy recently at the Belfast - Cavehill Road Center. Must appreciate Kathryn, she was very welcoming, friendly and professional with initiative to discuss at length the puppy's health, diet, good practices vis a vis training the puppy etc. We took the health plan which will cover all vaccinations etc. All a very pleasing experience!

Our Cairn Terrier, Sandy was a regular visitor to Claire Vets over his life, especially over the past year. Last evening Sandy finally lost his battle with illness and was put to sleep with dignity and compassion. A huge massive thank you to Naomi and all the staff at Claire Vets for the care and love you gave to Sandy and the support so willingly given to us. You have been amazing and we will be forever grateful.

My wee pup had an operation on his broken leg and couldn't thank Clare veterinary group enough. Also Martin the vet was amazing in explaining everything to me about the surgery and ensuring he done what was best for my dog.

My dog is afraid of grooming and after trying various methods we had to book him in for a sedated groom. I dropped him off at my local vet and they transferred him to ballyclare for the groom. Everyone was soo nice and informative, they left him back at my vets for me to pick up, he is back home now drowsy but like a different dog as he was soo matted before. Thank you all

My cat was hit by a car 5 weeks ago and I took her to the emergency vet at clare vet group absolutely amazing work by the vet and surgeon who fixed my beloved pet, communication was fantastic and I was kept well informed and up to date with everything. Would rate this as a top quality vets and I will be going nowhere else with my animals from now on. Cant thank them enough!!

I would like to say a big thank you to the vets and nurses at Clare Vets especially Kirsten, Naomi and Pauline, who treated my wee cat Mollie with so much respect and dignity when she was diagnosed with cancer 3 weeks ago. Sadly Mollie went downhill quickly over the last few weeks and she was put to sleep last night. Naomi and Pauline handled everything with so much empathy and understanding yesterday and it was such a peaceful end for my Mollie. Spending her last few hours with her before she was sedated and PTS was so comforting for us as a family. We will miss her so much. Thank you xxx

I just wanted to say thank you to the vets & nurses at Clares. Sadly my little Maxx didn't have a happy ending after a sudden bout of illness last week, and while it has been awful I would just like to say thank you to the staff for the support and the vet who was so lovely and allowed us to spend as much time at the end as possible. It was really appreciated. Also the young nurse with the blonde hair sorry I didn't get your name who was so lovely when we brought Maxx in and when we said our final goodbyes. Thank you for trying.

I have to say the care my Dog has got over this past 2 weeks has been excellent I would also like to give a mention to Diane who seen him as an emergency she was so patient and explained to us the different options there was for snowey but outcome was a operation not maybe what we wanted but it was for snoweys comfort the nurses and vets level of care was excellent.

I don't even have the words to describe how amazing these people are!! We had the fright of our life on Monday night when our wee dog Nala started to take a fit for the first time, she had 5 in the space of 1 hour! Turns out our wee lady has epilepsy. She had to be kept in the hospital for 2 nights & the staff were absolutely amazing... I can't thank them enough, they went above & beyond for Nala & made sure she was comfortable & happy! We are over the moon to finally have our wee lady back where she belongs, at home :) So thank you so so much to everyone at Clare's veterinary group for looking after Nala & giving her the best care possible! Xx

Have been using this vets practice for 30 odd years .... They provide outstanding service day and night!!. I wouldn't consider using any other vets.

Naomi Hoy has been fantastic with my two elderly dogs over the past couple of years as they have had a bad run of health problems. I cannot thank her enough for her ongoing attention and support!❤️❤️

The care that was given to Missy and ourselves at ballyclare was excellent. We brought Missy home for her last day.
