Clarkes Dry Cleaners

Called recently for a passport photo.
Was met by a very helpful gentleman. Took dry cleaning on my second visit, i was amazed how fresh my drycleaning came back. Will call again.

I needed some passport photos taken. The owner was very helpful and polite. The quality of the photos were up to the standard required by the passport office. Would recommend Clarkes for great service.

I had some passport photographs taken here that turned out to be rejected because they were blurry. I didn't look twice at them at the time, assuming the owner knew what he was doing... after bringing them back he argued they were fine. There is no interpretation involved here - they were obviously not sharp, you just have to look at them.

When I asked for a refund instead of more photos he started with an aggressive tone and was very uncooperative. The owner was very sarcastic and refused to acknowledge the sub-standard product. To top it off, after I refused to leave without a refund he dropped the coins into my hands from about 6 inches away, couldn't believe how rude he was. I left feeling very angry - as a previous reviewer stated there are less stressful places to go for basic services. My interaction with this man left a very bad taste.

I received, as a gift from a Belfast friend, a stunning vintage duchesse satin evening gown which was custom-made in the 1950s in Harvey Nichols’ specialist made-to-measure department. It needed a clean, as, while beautiful, it had food stains and make-up stains. Clarkes Dry Cleaners did an amazing job. The owner was very interested in the garment and was able to tell me it was a 1950s gown (I knew it was vintage but didn’t know the exact decade, so was thrilled to discover this information) It ťravelled to Vienna, where I was attending the Kaffeesiederball (Coffee-makers ball, one of the most prestigious and stylish of Vienna ball season) in the Hofburg Palace, and thanks to Clarkes professionalism and expertise, it didn't have a single wrinkle when I unpacked it - despite being somewhat squashed in my luggage for a good eight hours. It was much admired at the ball and stayed looking fresh all night! I cannot recommend Clarke’s Dry Cleaners highly enough - superb service and attention to detail. Thrilled. Five gold stars. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
