We are currently in the stages of doing a company design upgrade on our social media pages and we are also having our new Van signage designed at the moment which is all very exciting so we wanted to ask our Customers would they send in Photos of your finished stove or open fire installations so we can choose the best to feature in our new designs.
we would be really grateful for this favour as we really want to show off our own finished wo...rk and not use any photoshoped or random images from the Internet. We want to show our work at its best to everyone else ☺️
Any images sent please make sure they are high quality images and not to dark as they will be blown up to fit the van and we don't want any distortion or pixelation.

Full stove installation package supplied for Wes and Heather they had just moved into their new property and having had us carry out work in the old property fitting a stove they decided to use us again 😊 this time they were able to have the installation they had always wanted. To start we removed the old open fireplace and dug open the firebox the back wall was in quite bad condition so we have to remove it altogether and build it back in. We then carried out installing the ...new flexible flue system with custom fitted closure plate, adapter and cowl. We squared off the firebox with fireproof paneling ready for painting, built the brick hearth (bricks chosen by Heather) and fitted a solid oak beam with fireproof board at the bottom to achieve this country cottage look. Once we fitted the stove itself we tested and certificated this installation ready for building control approval.

Dimplex Westcott 5 stove getting a new 3 storey flue system supplied and fitted along with the usual custom fitted closure plate, adapter and cowl, quick spruce up first for the appliance and then refitted and tested for certification purposes. This customer also required addtional ventilation by local building control so we core holed and fitted one at the rear of the stove itself on the gable wall. Another one in this housing development that's safe and working to the custo...mers satisfaction.

Re install for this evergreen stove after some firebox and flue system upgrades 😊 as you can see from the photos this installation was leaking water and Tar from the crude flue adapter used, they also felt that the stove had been just shoved in which they wanted us to try and change. We were limited to the width of the opening due to the external width of the chimney breast so we actually opened up the recess as far as we could go while still safe and then shortened the width... of the stone surround to enable us to remove the black granite panels completely. A new front and back black granite hearth, mixed slate cladding and a full new stainless steel flexible flue system 150mm 6" with custom fitted black closure plate, adapter and Cowl. All appliances are tested upon installation and certification provided. In our opinion we achieved alot more space and made this Installation look great as it should have the first time.

TIGER stove that needed some updating 🐯 we removed the offset clay adapter that was leaking water onto the top of the stove causing rust. We then swept and cleaned the old flueway and relined with a 9m 150mm 6" flexible lining system including custom fitted closure plate, adapter and Cowl. Mark our customer had also decided on mixed stone cladding and black frame bezel frame to really make this installation stand out. After a quick service and cleaning of the stove we refitte...d it and tested to provide current certification.

Stone surround and insert stove installation carried out for Marc. He also required a partial reline with twin wall conversion for flue chimney exiting the slate roof, we supplied and fitted the system including adapters and closure plate. We carried out all the necessary work removing the old electric fireplace and opening up and resupporting the chimney breast with a new lintle. Once we carried out the dirty work we moved on supplying and fitting the new polished black gran...ite hearth, gray slate cladding and fitting of the surround and granite slips supplied by mark. Once all this had been done we fitted the stove and carried out testing and provided certificates ☺️👍

Flue reline and stove works carried out on this little Charnwood stove. This stove was fitted without a necessary size flue at the time of initial fitting it was also fitted off the rear of the stove using a t-piece stove pipe we don't really recommend this for installs if a connection can be made from the top flue outlet on the stove. The reason for this is we find people forget to clean out the soot collector and the stove pipe to the rear will get blocked causing fumes to ...have no where to go. The top outlet helps as gravity causes alot of debris to drop into the fire and burn off. So we installed a welded offset stove pipe to correct this and allow for clearances etc. Once we had the closure plate and flue system fitted we reconnected the stove tested and provided its new certificate pack.

Full stove package deal carried out for Gary just before Christmas. As you can see from the first photo this installation was a bodge job from the start no correct sized flue system instead a crude 5" to 8" clay adapter had been used causing flumes to drop back into the house as well as condensate and tar running down the adapter itself. We ripped out everything and started from scratch. This meant increasing the size of the recess itself which involved quite alot of rubble t...o be removed and the chimney breast to be resupported. We also fitted the new flue system, closure plate, adapter and Cowl on the chimney pot. Finishing design choices included white cloud stone cladding, polished black granite hearth and black frame bezel. No need for a beam as this was already in place from the previous install. Once we worked our way through this we restored the stove and supplied and fitted new internal fire bricks, rope and a quick touch up with fireproof matt black stove paint and this job looked well and truly finished. We are very happy with how it turned out and so are the customers most importantly 😉 all certificates and testing carried out and supplied upon completion of work.

Mendip Churchill stove that had been installed incorrectly without the correct flue size for the appliance as you can see another crude adapter jumping from 5" outlet off the stove to 8" diameter clay liners these liners are not suitable for this install. This will cause poor draught, smoke coming back into the room when lighting or refilling, condensate or tar leaking from the adapter itself due to its push fit design. We removed everything, swept the existing flue and insta...lled the new flue system along with adapters, cowl and custom fitted closure plate. After the stove had a quick clean up we reinstalled and tested. This stove is now working the way it should have been and just in time for Christmas 😉

Cream enameled inset stove installed for Pat and Joe who couldn't wait to get this fitted and we managed to get it done just before Christmas for them which made this install all the more rewarding. We actually had difficulty bolting the stove in position as the bolts supplied were not suitable in this case after some fidgeting and new longer bolts this install went in and fitted great. The New flue system required for this appliance was also supplied by us along with the nec...essary adapters, cowl and certificates upon completion most importantly.

Stove flue installation and minor works carried out for Heather. This stove had been installed incorrectly without the appropriate flue size also wood had also been used to screw the closure plate to 😲 this clearly wasn't correct as you can see from the burn marks on the wood itself. We removed the stove and crude adapter that had been used and replaced the whole flue system including a new closure closure plate that corrected the stove which was sitting more to the left of t...he opening and was noticeable. Once the main work was completed we supplied and fitted new fireproof paintable panels with a black frame bezel to complete the install.

Live mains Gas Pipe we found located under a freestanding m/F stove appliance in Bangor. This is as scary as it gets folks this was an explosion waiting to happen which would have killed anyone in the room at the very least as well as taking out half the side of the house. I want to put this Post up to make people aware to have any appliance they don't think may be incorrectly installed, suspect or maybe they havnt used the fireplace or stove before, maybe they are buying a h...ouse and are unsure if it's fitted correctly you need to call a professional that isn't only us there are plenty of reputable companies that can help out there. Unless you are an extremely knowledgeable person regarding the subject of stove installation please Husbands, dad's, boyfriends, sons, friends of friends and the fella down the road. You think your doing something great by helping a friend or installing a stove to keep the family all cosy but you could also cause your family harm or put a friends family in danger. Believe me you couldn't live with that and It's not worth the favour or the beer tokens and its best left to us or others in this field. Stay safe this Christmas.

Stovax Stockton 5 Installation carried out for David this week who chose, honed slate, charcoal cladding, bezel and solid oak beam to finish it off. This Job was a little different as the properties chimney had been removed so we had to terminate the flexible lining at the base of the chimney stack and supply and fit the neccesary Tw wall flue, adapters, brackets and flashing to close off the roof again. Also quite alot of rubble removed from this Job as we widened the firebo...x to make it suitable for the stove itself. Very classy looking stove and and beautiful Job we think 😉

Beautiful install carried out for Ciaran and Rachael in Downpatrick. They wanted to remove there existing open fire installation and fit this lovely little woolly Mammoth 5 multi fuel stove. So out it came and we widened the firebox recess to make it suitable for this freestanding appliance. After sweeping the existing flue and removing any debris we then continued on to supply and fit an entirely new flue system complete with closure plate, adapter and Cowl. The actual desig...n of the fireplace was a polished black granite hearth, light grey stone cladding, black bezel and solid oak beam with as little distance between the oak beam and top bezel while still looking correct and proportional. After we supplied and fitted all this we fitted the stove itself tested and carried out necessary checks and issuing of certificates for building control. We think we delivered for these customers as they are over the moon with the finished result and we couldn't be happier about that 😊

Little hobbit stove Installed for Jenny who couldn't wait to get this little gem of a stove going. Love fitting these there really quirky wee stoves and produce a powerful amount of heat. This property already had a suitable 150mm clay flue present so we simply swept it and smoke tested it to ensure it wasnt leaking any fumes before we connected and installed the stove once the necessary test had been carried out we wrote out certificates for building control to sign off. Recent Job carried out just outside Ballyclare. Customers decided it was time for a new stove and while at it decided to change the firebox itself and update it with some new mixed cladding and black frame bezel. With the installation a brand new flexible flue system with custom fitted matt black closure plate, adapters and cowl. This stove also had a direct air vent fitted to the rear. Turned out great and will keep this families home warm and festive over the Christmas seas...on.
