Folks, as some of you are already aware, the construction work next door to the allotments has left our site exposed and some of us have been dealing with the vandalism caused to both Colin Glen's site and to a lesser extent our site. Until we get the contractor to take effective security measures, can we ask everyone to be extra vigilant & pass on any urgent issues through this site or through contact with other allotment holders. Many thanks Michael George, please post on my FB page if needed.

Please be aware there is a skip at the allotment site that you can dispose of plastic ,old wood, old compost bags, and other general waste but please do not put in soil, grass and other organic waste.
Also we have asked plot holders several times, to please ensure any materials for the compost beds are put directly in the compost beds and not in the area surrounding them or at the grass mound in the car park. As we have now needed to clear these areas on numerous occasions at a substantial cost. Action will be taken in future against those responsible.

We are trying to get anyone on our waiting list allocated an allotment plot before April. Could those of you who are not renewing their lease for the upcoming year April 19-March 20 email betty@newcolin.com asap, so that we can reallocate the plots quickly. (Please include Name and plot number, if you have a full plot, please include both numbers). We would really appreciate that everyone try their best to get back to us as early as possible, as this will help us get all plots in full use for the spring growing season. Many thanks
