Ballymena Borough Council
Invest Northern Ireland (Community Business Program)
As the name suggests “community” is at the centre of our business plan. We have two main objectives.

To create job opportunities in disadvantaged areas.
To provided a means of income generation for other charities and community groups.
All the profits generated from the sale of used clothing go back to the local community groups and charities that support us. We have had the opportunity to help fund local playgroups, youth clubs and also schools, providing a much needed source of extra income. We feel that charities should be rewarded for the effort they put into recycling and so maintain a high price for the clothing we collect. We work closely with charitable organisations we collect from and do everything possible to help them.
