The Alex Rider series by Anthony Horowitz is currently in production for an eight-part television series. We have the first seven books, which feature the fourteen-year-old spy, recruited by MI6 after the mysterious death of Alex’s uncle guardian. Suitable for 9-12 age range and older.

Our books are generously donated by the public so it isn’t often we can offer an entire series of a book. This week we have several! Enid Blyton’s St Clare’s series takes place in an all-girl boarding school, with all the fun, adventure and hijinks. Six of the nine series were written in the 1940s by Enid Blyton, the other three by Pamela Cox in 2000 and 2008 to fill out the series. Suitable for the 9-12 age-range and younger.

Two great children’s classics now in store. Dr Seuss books and Enid Blyton’s St Clare’s series, suitable for 9-12 year olds.

We are open tomorrow, Easter Tuesday, with a new window, celebrating the anniversary of the Bard’s birth and death this week. 🎭
