We will be hosting a book launch for The Island Boy by Leo Convery, our father and founder of Convery's Island Nurseries in August. More details to follow at a later date.
The book will also be available to purchase here at the nursery after the official launch, as well as other locations.

1st July and a little harvest of container grown early Charlotte potatoes from Patch grown in peat free compost from Bulrush Horticulture as a little experiment.
Some of you might have seen these growing in our sales tunnel while you have been in and wondered what it was.

Trailing Begonias are an often over looked plant for hanging baskets in favour things like trailing Petunias, but they will give you a fantastic show of long lasting colour that is hard to beat.

Our stall at the Saturday market in Ballymena was featured in the Ballymena Guardian Newspaper article this week.
We celebrated 40 years in business last year, and we started out at the market in Ballymena and have had a stall every year since then, and we will be back again tomorrow. It's fair to say we wouldn't be where we are now without our customers at the market, and we will hopefully continue to run a stall in the market each Saturday as long as we can.

The sun is out and the summer bedding plants are starting to put on a real show of colour!
We have a wide range of summer bedding plants available, as well as Pre-filled hanging baskets and window boxes, along with our normal selection of shrubs, trees and transplant vegetables.

We have a good selection of 14 inch wicker hanging baskets filled with a mix of trailing plants, as well as smaller 9 inch baskets filled with trailing petunias.

First Sunday of May and we are open until 6pm.
We will also be open on tomorrow on Bank Holiday Monday from 9am to 7:30pm.
