Leading the way in Motorsport Preparation for Classic Cars

This has been brewing for a bit. There hasn’t been an Evo in the family since 2006. So you could say it was long over due. Everyone needs a quick estate car at least once in their lives. It’s already fitted with a tow bar so rest assured it will be working for us too!
A spring clean was much needed and look what we found under the covers! A great collection of cars, lots going on and with summer on its way the workshop will see late nights and lots of fettling!
Keep an eye out, Ariel Atom 4 about to go up the hill at Goodwood Festival of Speed 2018

We had a little bit of shakeout for one customer. This is not the first time this car has seen gravel or indeed circled pylons. However it was its owners first time driving rear wheel drive. He was certainly getting to grips with it.

There is a whole lot of right in this picture. Delivering the modsport to BrookFab to have a fuel tank made to get this car back out racing.
Adjustable top arms for a customers Mg Midget finally finished. Alignment to do in the morning and then it's ready for collection. Pictures to follow tomorrow.
Today was steady. 4 link bars in with new rose joints and hardware. Waiting for rose joints for the watts linkage to finish this side of things off. Front braided brake lines made and fitted. Taillights fitted (for the geeks out there, we know they are from an earlier car but we like the look) Exhaust silencer to fit tonight before turning the lights off for the weekend. This car is going to be Epic!
Rear cage now fitted. Tomorrow brings we aim to have the rear axle in its final resting place with all new rose joints from Fred Crawford engineering this morning. Maybe even push on to plumbing the flex brake lines into the front corners. A step forwards everyday is the aim regardless of how big or small.
Today we continue to get Wills own Mg Midget up onto its own four wheels. Front corners and steering almost completely finished. Tomorrow will see the rear roll cage fitted and work beginning on the rear axle location! With lots of goodies already on show keep following our progress to see what other spec is in store.
So we started to set out parts for the next build. With the usual goodies we build into our cars. Frontline front suspension kit, JLH alloy front hubs, Peter May front springs, poly bushes and Corry Motorsport big brake kit with Wilwood 4 pot callipers. Is this the restart of Wills very own midget? Keep your eyes peeled for updates as GFA might be brought from under her cover and back into the workshop!
Mk2 Sprite Project now sold.
