Council For The Homeless Northern Ireland (Chni) Description

Council for the Homeless NI (CHNI) is an umbrella organisation founded in 1983 to represent organisations working with homeless people throughout Northern Ireland.

Membership currently includes accommodation, support and outreach providers from the voluntary, community, statutory and private sectors in NI, the Republic of Ireland and the UK.

We support the sector in the delivery of good quality services through the provision of training, information and research; representing the sector to decision makers; and through encouraging the involvement of homeless people in service planning and delivery.
