We recently sent out briefing packs to the relatives of those who will be commemorated on the County Armagh Memorial Wall. We have had a good response but there are still a number of returns outstanding. If you have not replied yet, could we please ask you to respond quickly to help us with planning. A small number of immediate relatives have still not been identified so if anyone who thinks they should have got a pack and didn't, please email capg@btinternet.com or riversid...ers3@aol.com Many Thanks

It has been a busy week! Lots of support coming through on to the page. With your help we have connected with families who were unaware, lets not sit back, there are families we still need to contact. As you can see progress on site is moving quickly and we are right on schedule for dedication.

Firstly Thank you to everyone for your continued support. Let’s not sit back. We have had great response in finding family members but we have also found there are many local families who are unaware of this Memorial. Speak to family, friends, colleagues, we are so close to Dedication we need your Help!

We will be doing a site visit shortly. Not the greatest of days but NI weather isn’t always kind.

The book “From Partition to Peace” by Stanley Burrows BEM is a chronology of all those murdered in Co Armagh whose names will be on the Memorial Wall. It covers from the formation of the USC in 1920 to the present day - all 345 names. Books will be offered for a voluntary donation of £10. All proceeds to County Armagh memorial Wall.
At the same night a Memorial patchwork quilt will be ‘unveiled’ that has been sewn by the ladies of CAPG and will be on display in the CAPG off...ice following the book launch for people to view. A light supper will be provided. Everyone welcome to attend.
