Just love this wee food gem in the centre of Newry. Friendly staff, fresh, fabulous and affordable homemade food. As for the upstairs steak house well it's Simply delicious too.

I'm not from Newry but love travelling down to courtneys. Brilliant service, staff are so friendly and atmosphere is lovely. Food is fantastic as always. Courtneys is my treat place to go. I live it

Had a lovely meal in the steak house last night. The starter, crab claws with prawns was amazing. Ribeye (medium/rare) was just to perfection ( omg, I could eat it again) the chocolate & orange cheesecake is to die for. All washed down with a glass of krombacher (doesn't get much better) The staff are attentive & friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed. Overall, really enjoyed the whole experience. Would recommend to everyone. I will most definitely be back

Had a beautiful family meal last night in the steakhouse. The meal was fantastic and the staff where fabulous. I will definitely be back. Beautiful steakhouse and the environment was so relaxing.

Great food at affordable prices staff were very welcoming chef was brilliant will be back

Don't usually write reviews but I must say it is great to now have a place in Newry to get a great steak. Had a gorgeous starter, dinner and desert. Also the young man Kevin who looked after our table was an absolute gent.. top class service!!!! Very impressed. Also very reasonable. Will definitely be back and would definitely recommend.

Couldn't reccomend this enough. Food is out of this world staff are one of the most friendly people I've met a credit to the business.

Amazing staff and absolutely unreal food! I came in with my brother on Friday the 23rd june for food 15mins before they closed and they were in the middle of trying to clean up, but made sure I didn't feel like a nuisance and gave us excellent service! Honestly so impressed with this place and will most definitely be coming back here! Definitely makes this a place where I WANT to spend my money! Well done to the two ladies who served me today!!!

Very disappointed with a recent home order for my daughters 18th which included chicken curry and rice.... little to no chicken in the dish. Lasagne dish also very small. Had to go to my local shop to purchase more food for my guests. Very embarrassing. Very expensive for what we got. Will not be ordering again. Returned the trays next day and wasnt even asked if everything was to my satisfaction.

Went into Courtney's as they do hot food and asked for a fry up and a curry and rice. Staff at Courtney's asked multiple times if we would like a half n half (chips and rice) so my girlfriend replied multiple times no just curry and rice. Got our food, went home and found that we got curry on its own. Worse customer service in the world! Will never be back to this dump

Was in Courtney across from buttercrane and I placed my mums order and then my order. I was horrified when my order arrived and sausages bacon and egg was on my plate. I don't eat sausages bacon eggs. The man that took my order told me that's what I ordered and was extremely rude. Didn't appreciate been spoke to like that in front of busy restaurant.
