About Craigmore Fishery

Craigmore Fishery is a 5 acre spring fed lake on the outskirts of Randalstown, fully stocked on a weekly basis with quality rainbow trout. At Craigmore Fishery we have a policy of stocking large speciman fish well into double figures that can often been seen from the bank. The fishery is set in the beautiful countryside of County Antrim, with scenic views overlooking Lough Neagh and is only a 20 minute drive from Belfast and the International Airport. During 2010 Craigmore was aquired by new management who's aim is to return it to its former glory.

Firstly Next weekend is Easter so we are open Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd and the usual Easter egg competition will take place, good luck....
Strong East winds over the weekend were constant and very cold and kept the fish down, so in turn buzzers, bloodwroorm, lures and nymphs fishing better than drys. Considering an east wind makes it hard to fish 3 banks of the lake it fished very well. Stephen Best 31 on a couple of visits on nymphs and l...ures a nice brownie and a few 4-5lb. Despite the strong winds and showers there was still fish on the surface with Jeff Davidson landing 10 and losing alot on f flys. Billy Hazalett landed 11 on drys and flappers again losing alot and even though Stephen Best had a late start he still managed 24 to the net on pheasant tail nymphs and damsels.

Weekky Report 28/2/19 TO 3/3/19 The week started beautiful high temperatures and bright sunshine but turned quickly on Saturday with strong winds and heavy showers, but some good numbers getting caught regardless. 'Simply The Best' sorry Stephen Best lol had a ball landing 60 in a couple of visits on pheasant tail nymphs and damsels 1@7+ 3@5+ 2@4+ not to mention the ton off other fish he hooked and lost. honestly have to say i do find it hard traveling to other fisheries when iv got this spectacular lake right at my back door unreal fishing and some great fish and to top it off now theres brown trout in the mix i honestly havent got one bad word to say about this place and if u havnt already fished it iys about time use did the men and woman that fish here are all good crack and the owners well u defo couldnt ask for better get ur rods out and give this place a throw u defo wont be disappointed

We fished here for the first time today and it was very tough conditions but the fishing was outstanding I ended up with 13 and my brother had 10 I got snapped three times and lost a good few as well I couldn't believe the size of the fish we caught nothing under 2.5lb and the biggest was 8lb � from the minute we arrived we where made very welcome by Clare and everyone around the lake was very welcoming and helpful too we will be back very soon and I would highly recommend this lake to anyone thanks again from a great day �� and I nearly forgot the fry was first class �

Had smashing day, water clarity has to be seen to be believed. 11 caught sight fishing only weather stopped it being more. Claire was very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit. will be back.

First time here 26 Match will be back some lovely fish and fishing and clean and tidy lake so crystal clear. Staff so friendly ample parking and good stocked tackle shop with toilets and wash facilities can't ask for more. THANK-YOU even thou I caught nowt I had an awesome time.
