Creating A Space is a video production company based in Belfast that specialises in creating story-led video & photography content for creative brands. With Creating A Space, I want to help creative business owners maximise their video content for their brand and help generate sales for their business. Video has become such an important form of media when it comes to building your brand and selling products /services online. I focus solely on storytelling, and how we can create visually impactful video content that really engages your customer. To create video content that evokes emotion and represents your brand with your tone of voice. My aim is to make it a seamless process for you, by taking control in creating your video content. I help free up time for you so that you can focus on the other sides of your business. I also specialise in telling stories through documentaries, and I always push myself to create projects that include a diversity of perspectives. My most recent project is called 'How They See Us' which investigates how people from different backgrounds navigate their lives. I am curious to see how people think society sees them as an individual, and what labels & stereotypes have been placed upon them based on how they look or where they are "from". In this season, I interviewed 5 amazing individuals from different cultural backgrounds, who shared their experiences of what it is like being a person of colour in Northern Ireland and what their experiences have been like growing up here. We talked about the struggles of navigating identity, representation, grief, belonging, race, discrimination and self-love & acceptance.
