Today seen some of our coaches attend a first aid training course hosted by Paul Berry group training.
A massive thank you to our coaches on giving up part of their Sunday to improve their knowledge of sporting related injuries and learning to deal with them in the correct manner.
The session was professional and Paul delivered it brilliantly, highly recommended for any clubs/groups looking to refresh their first aid.

Big well done to Finn McGuickin on being selected by Swansea City Football Academy. Great to see his hard work paying off. He will still be wearing the blue and black jersey while getting extra training with Swansea. 🔵⚫️⚽️

*******************2010s***************** ********** Crumlin Utds 2010s sent a mix of boys and girls into a tournament today. Took them a game to get used to their team mates, once they did they improved every game. In the group stage they faced Ballymena, Coleraine, Magherafelt Sky Blues and Top Of The Hill Celtic. Four very good teams but the Crumlin Team done themselves proud and progressed into the plate semi final against a good Ballymoney side. Crumlin grew in confidence and eased passed them into the final where they played Limavady and won. Boys and girls done the club proud. Well done to all the coaches for their efforts to get the team together over the past few days. Big thanks to the parents too giving up a wet and windy Sunday and to Magherafelt, Chris and the team for a very well run day.

With the ever growing numbers in Mini Soccer we are delighted that senior players Willy, Conor and Sean have stepped forward to help out.
Great to have local lads contributing to their club and giving up their free time to help the next generation of CUFC players 🔵⚫️

After a great start to the season for our 2009s yesterday were thrown straight back into it this morning with a trip to Larne to play in their annual tournament. Before the games got underway we could tell our boys were ready to play. First game up was Carrick Rangers where the young men from Mill road swept aside their opponents 3-0. Second game saw us play an energetic Plunkett side. A 1-0 lead was cancelled out by a fortuitous goal straight from the corner. The final gr...oup game against magherafelt was to see who topped the group. The young united men didn’t disappoint. Flowing football and grit and determination were on display as we swept the sky blues aside 3-0. We were paired with Glentoran for the chance to meet Antrim Rovers in the final. From the off we knew we were in a game and within 5 we were one down. The boys battled hard and two quick goals sent our young men to the final and quite literally the parents and coaches into a state of euphoria. Once we had got the parents settled (lol) we set out to have a go at Antrim Rovers. It’s the best 0-0 I’ve ever witnessed us play in. End to end! Goal line clearances. Kids literally fighting tooth and nail for the badge they were representing! The whistle blew and it was penalties! Antrim Rovers took the trophy after the shoot out and it was hand shakes all round. We huddled our boys together and the message was clear! They had given their all for CUFC today! They left nothing on the pitch! The disappointment was there but the boys were rightly clapped off by their parents and there is no doubt in the coaches mind that with this kind of effort and heart these kids will contest plenty of finals the coming season. 🔵🖤⚫💙🔵🖤💙⚫
Thanks to Larne for a great tournament and to parents and coaches for giving up a Sunday.

Great performance from the 2008s today winning The Trophy competition at Whitehead Eagles Tournament. With a win and 2 draws in the group stages, including a hard fought 1-1 against impressive eventual Cup winners Glentoran, the lads were a solid team unit throughout. The second place finish in the group took them through to the Trophy competition where they defeated East Belfast on penalties. Some great football in the final saw the lads stroll to a convincing 4-0 victory against the hosts, Whitehead. Fantastic performance and well deserved victory for all involved.
