I was a guest at the club the other evening

This is a beautifully situated venue in a great village

The staff looked after my party and the time spent overlooking the coast into the evening was great

If anyone is offered the chance to visit, please take the chance. The venue and members are lovely

I took dinghy sailing lessons with the CSBC for two weeks, and if I could have, I would have continued taking lessons there until the end of the season. It was an excellent introduction to an exhilarating sport. All the instructors were highly knowledgeable, experienced, intelligent and professional. And, even though some of the oldest were awaiting their A-level results (and I heard they did very well), they were more adult than many adults I know, and that includes myself. So, whether you are an adult who wants to learn to sail from the foundation of the sport, or you are a parent who wants to develop your child’s senses of teamwork and responsibility under the guidance of excellent role models, or you want to do both (other adults in the course also had children taking the course!), you could hardly find a better opportunity than this.

-Cheers from Alaska
