Not impressed had to ask for knife.s and forks for bough course. 2 of our 4 steaks were over cooked

Good food. Good value. Friendly service.

Got there late and early start next day, wish we were there earlier because room and bar looked amazing and would have liked to have been able to enjoy them more. Scones are the best I've ever had, great breakfast and lovely staff.

We booked this hotel online and could choose which room we had. My wife's a big purple fan so we chose that one. She was in her element. The hotel has a boutiquey feel about it. The room was delightful, clean and comfortable.
The food in the restaurant was very good. Unfortunately my lamb was not properly cooked but when staff asked if the meal was ok and I told them, I was immediately brought a new plate of food which was perfect. Breakfast was extensive. There was loads of fresh cut fruit, home made muesli and jams. As well as other cereals and a hot menu. My wife is a vegetarian and found the breakfast to be excellent.
Staff were friendly and attentive. The cost was extremely competitive. Add to this the charming village location and this is a stop not to be missed.

Stopped in for carvery lunch. Really good spread and value. Good comfort food and good range of drinks and dessert (if u had space after the portions they serve!)
Also very good with allergies and provided gluten free bread for one of us who is coeliac. Will definitely be back when passing through.

Wonderful atmosphere and delicious food in a homely setting. Great for families and fresh home cooked food.

Food was delicious. I got the squid to start and the scampi for main and thoroughly enjoyed them both. My friends really liked the burger and the steak sandwich.

Good food

Carvery lunch service is awful on Sundays though food is ok. Heavy atmosphere and bad vibes. Seems like a place for locals to see and be seen but little more than that to draw you there.
