Bleary Loyal Sons of William LOL 754 visited in June and held a meeting in the top room of Dan Winter's House. They enjoyed a supper afterwards with a slice of Apple Tart.

Here are New Life Fellowship from Belfast who visited in June for a tour of Dan Winter's House, talk on the history of the House and family. Followed by tea, scones and Apple tart.

Here are North Belfast Interface Network who visited in August. They enjoyed a tour and talk of the history of Dan Winter's House and the Battle of the Diamond. They also were inquisitive as to the events and local atmosphere leading up to the Battle, it was great to get a debate going.

C.R.H.A.S visited in August. They are an historical and archaeological society who enjoyed a visit to Dan Winter's House, especially with regard to the history and the fact that the house has been in the Winter family for over 300 years. Hilda gave a talk on The Battle of the Diamond and the significance of the House and Winter family to the beginnings of the Orange Order. The group were also interested in the restoration and repairs which took place in 2000.

Omagh WLOL 44 who are pictured here in the top room of Dan Winter's House following their meeting. The ladies enjoyed looking around the artefacts on display and then had tea and scones in the tea room.

Leeds Bible & Crown Defender's LOL 81 who visited Dan Winter's House in July. They had a tour and talk then enjoyed tea, scones and Apple tart.

Ballyoran Cultural Summer Scheme who visited in July. The children enjoyed looking around Dan Winter's House and hearing about the history of The Cottage and the beginnings of the Orange Order. They also liked seeing all the historical equipment and farm machinery on display.

Here are some members of Banner of the Cross LOL 1510 from Bangor, Co Down who visited in June. A great day was had by all and afternoon tea was enjoyed after a tour of Dan Winter's House.

Cottown LOL 1029 who visited in June. They held a meeting in the historic top room of Dan Winter's House followed by afternoon tea and a slice of Hilda's Apple tart.

Here are a group of friends from Liverpool who visited in June. They came from various lodges in the City. They enjoyed a tour, historical talk from Hilda and tea and sandwiches in the tea room.

We have had lots of groups visiting The Cottage this last few months. We have been very busy and haven't been posting - So prepare yourselves for lots of photos!

Lovely visit to Dan Winters Cottage took my daughter Emma she loved it if you want to learn more about the orange order & our heritage this is the place to go Hilda has a wealth of knowledge & makes you feel very welcome will definitely go back again

Had a smashing time at "Dan Winter's" learnt a lot about the Order and the area. The host Hilda was something else, from her hospitality to her knowledge of the history. Not to mention her apple pie. A great day out for anyone who wishes to learn the roots of Orangeism. I'd go back again for round two in a heartbeat.

Great place to visit. Was there 10 years ago with the sons of Glasgow lol 50 and we are returning this July so looking forward to catching up with Hilda and tasting her famous apple pie once again
