We were married last year and we were extremely lucky to have David as our photographer. In on word, perfection, from start to finish. On the day, David may us feel completely at ease and almost became one of the family. Everyone commented on how professional he was. It was an absolute pleasure to have him at our wedding. As for the final product, the photos were breath taking and will provide us will many happy memories of the day. If you can book David do so without hesitation. This guy is incredible. David photographed our wedding yesterday and from the minute he arrived was an absolute legend...he put everyone at ease from the get go and nothing was too much trouble. On your wedding day you really do spend a LOT of time with your photographer and Scott and myself were so glad we chose David we had so many guests compliment us on what a nice guy he is and the preview slideshow was incredible, we can't wait to see the rest of the photos. I would highly recommend Dave to anyone!!! He was very professional on our wedding day and made everyone feel at ease! We didn't even realise he was snapping away until we seen most of the photos later that night which is such a nice touch!! His photos have such a personal touch to them things that caught his eye in our house and also wee things we had at the venue were captured which was lovely to see when we got out photographs. If you are looking for a great photographer who is very easy going and will literally take any photo you ask for (100 photos of my wedding shoes) then this is the guy for you!!! Not only was he our wedding photographer he was also my dell boy haha � carrying my bag/flowers/veil/shoes aswel as his own equipment haha! Thanks again Dave will hopefully get to see you again at one of our friends weddings!

I was part of a bridal party for which David was photographer. Hadnt heard of him before so wasnt sure what to expect but he was fabulous . Great with the kids on the wedding too. Made us all feel at ease and having the photos was certainly not a tedious experience.

David photographed our wedding a few months ago and my husband and I have been singing his praises since then! Not only did we get a gorgeous set of photographs but on the day itself David did a fantastic job in calming nerves, moving the day along and bringing some humour. David is realllllly freaking fantastic at his craft. From helping us think about what exactly we wanted our wedding day photos to look like — to spending time helping us prepare for a really amazing day, you can't get a better photographer/human to help your photos look amazing in my opinion.



He put everyone being photographed at ease and brought out their best, took time to make sure he caught the quiet moments as well as the big ones and made me much calmer if things took a minor spike in the stress department.



One thing that everyone was crowded around for a long time was the preview photo gallery and they thought it was really fun to see the day as it had unfolded. David Cavan is an absolute legend!!! I haven't even got my photos and I'm giving him a 5* review because he totally put two people who don't love being in front of a camera at ease! We laughed so much with him on our wedding day and loved getting to know a wee bit about him. Everyone commented on how lovely he was. Dave was photographer at our wedding on 27th June 2015 at Hilden Brewery. When we booked him as our photographer, we knew exactly how good he was as a photographer! Little did we know that we was also an excellent handy man, sound engineer, organiser and all round great guy! We couldn't recommend Dave highly enough to all those who are looking for a photographer, be that weddings, engagements or whatever else. It was brilliant having him as our photographer for the day, however given his relaxed nature and all round banter, it was more like having an additional wedding guest...all be it an extremely talented one. So glad we chose to have him at our wedding, he's an absolute gent!! The idea of having a preview slideshow is also fantastic, as were the pictures shown during our evening reception.

DC's level of service is genuinely first-class in every aspect which is pleasing and reassuring when you want great photos & soon!



However beyond that he has a way with people that can't be bought or taught - a natural ability to put people at ease & make them laugh.



You get a sense very quickly that he is not driven by simply getting a job done or making money but connects and engages with the spiritual and emotional heart of they day - he was an easy choice in that regard.

He made us feel 100% comfortable and we loved his chilled out approach to the whole day. David went above and beyond what we expected and the quality of the photographs are fantastic - we absolutely adore them.

Can't recommend David highly enough- he was so warm and friendly and completely put us at ease. He was with us all day, right into the evening, and captured every special moment. Some of our favourite photos were the ones he took when guests weren't aware they were being photo'd and the scenes are beautifully natural- David was great at just blending into the background and everything flowed around him while he worked
