Did someone in Ford design get a job at BMW in the 90's?
It's been a couple of decades since we last re shelled a car. Looking forward to building this one. Ian's SR.
Coming soon! Not the daffodil but the other yellow flower in the background.
With the L/H side sorted on Jack's Celica Supra, it's onto the R/H side.
And we discovered some dodgy repairs in the past.
Time again to give this machine the attention she deserves.
Rot confined to rear wheel arches and rear end of sill panels on the Celica Supra.
Here's the progress from the bottom of L/H side 1/4 panel and wheel arch.
The Celica Supra shell on route to the blaster and the result.
Hard panels and floorpan cleaned with sand whilst roof , 1/4 panels stripped with soda.
Liberally coated with Bondaprimer.
-Crazy amount of wiring compared to Ford or Vauxhall. -the shell is ready for dispatch to the blaster.
First batch of suspension parts and brackets sandblasted. Pitted areas filled, sanded off, primed and 2k primed.

Our own 780 Selectamatic, being put to, albeit light work, getting the firewood in for winter.

Well, there she is skirts and all. If you want a closer look she'll be at Fermanagh Christian Fellowship's AUTO NIGHT tomorrow evening.
There ye's are now. I guess that's why they called them spoilers. I've just spoiled the flank of a perfect looking little car!
With side skirts or without. That is the question. Lovely looking wee car without them but I suppose they'll have to be fitted. We will try to get the rest of the Nova GSI story posted in the next week or two. Been so busy these last few months.
Prep work has begun for the auto night this coming Friday. Show us what you're planning to bring?
