De La Salle College is a Catholic all ability 11 – 18 school, established by the De La Salle Brothers along with the assistance of the local parishes, welcoming its first students on 5th September 1966. ​ In its 5 decades of history the school has continued to grow and flourish, reflecting the rich heritage of the West Belfast community, and our Lasallian core principals of Faith, Respect, Concern for Others, Quality Education and Inclusive Community. As a Lasallian school, we have a special mission to nurture and support all our pupils particularly our most vulnerable. We believe that all students can learn and achieve, regardless of their starting point, as represented in our motto ‘Growing to Excellence’.
