Debbie Deboo Photography Description
I've been taking photographs now for about three years. I took up photography as a way of making sense of a life characterised by chronic illness. I wanted to do something I could manage and enjoy. It has become a passion and I use my work to help charity and to advocate for awareness for M. E.
There are lots of things I can't photograph due to lack of mobility, strength and endurance but I find other things I can photograph instead. Life is all about what you make it.
I've had photographs published in books, the national and local press, I've had work exhibited and won competitions. I never intend to become a professional photographer my health won't allow for that but I'm happy enough plodding along as I am.
