Was in Dexter’s for the first time today have to say food and service was fab recommend to anyone who hasn’t tried it to give it a go food was delicious �
Unbelievable! Been twice now both 10/10 unreal value for the quality you get. Should put McDonald’s out of business as it is the same price maybe cheaper for something so much better. And also the fact it’s ran by some one I went to high school with makes it more impressive. Must try!
Lovely welcome, fast service and very reasonably priced, massive portion size (especially kids sausage meal lol) . Friendly staff. Will be back soon. Well done guys
Just ate in Dexters, can highly recommend. Staff were welcoming, and great craic, food arrived fast and was delicious, kind of Downpatricks version of Five Guys. Reasonably priced too. Looking forward to going back
I love dexter manger really helpful and chatty staff always smiling and asking hw u like food. Food is so good fresh an presented place clean and tidy an d grt sellection of music grt place .x
I had the pear picking porky burger and Sweet potato fries. I actually found it difficult to choose as the menu all sounded good. It was like nothing I've ever tasted before, totally unique with the pear chutney and blue cheese. Beautiful. Good menu choice. Staff were helpful and ordering on the touch screen was swift and easy. Very good value for money too. Great to see something like this in the town.
Had a few meals out of here now and have to say the food is excellent,milkshakes are amazing and I have to say the waitress Eileen is maybe the nicest most friendly woman ever,could possibly even be the best service I've ever had� see yous again soon.
Food was great and staff where so friendly and helpful! Would defo recommend for people to try! The milkshakes are literally the best tasting milkshakes ive ever had! Will definatley be back!
First visit this evening and can't wait to be back! Looked after my allergies fantastically! Burgers and chips were beautiful and the milkshake was gorgeous. Staff were very friendly and explained the menu brilliantly. Great to have quality burgers in town.
Fabulous welcome by Allistair who explained the service and the menu. Seated immediately. Highly recommend having at least the double burger. Priced just right for the market. Just waiting on my Carmel Sundae �
Excellent service, and very well mannered counter staff, couldn't be more helpful, food was lovely and good portion size too, will def be back again!!
Just had dinner in Dexters , really nice meal and staff were really courteous. Would definitely recommend it to others
Chicken lovely and crunchy, a lot of chips , one portion would do two, enjoyed the food, very fast food type of atmosphere, not relaxing at all.
Chicken is lovely, very tender and well seasoned. Portions of chips are enormous. It’s great that they serve craft beer too.
USB charging points at every table is a great touch, and when I ate here I saw how wheelchair friendly they are.
However....carrot in a fried chicken wrap should be illegal! I don’t get it at all �
Great to have somewhere nice to eat in Downpatrick town - I tend to only eat in Murphy’s, which is delicious, but it’s nice to have alternatives! �
Hi visited today for the first time food was lovely and decor very modern and clean however a few recommendation for the sit in restaurant, someone to serve your table would be great as when you have to queue with the take away area it is very time consuming, the other thing plastic cutlery and serving plates for a sit in restaurant not great look, puts you off returning
Was here on Saturday evening around 7pm, there was one other table in front of us and one behind us. Out of the three tables in the place every single one had something wrong with their order.
Between food going back for being wrong or not reading tickets right I find it a complete disgrace. The waiter was at the brunt of it and we felt sorry for him but the problem lies behind the scenes in the kitchen.
They are more worried about what music is on in the background at an uncomfortable volume for customers.
When the food was finally correct it was good but I shouldn't have to wait 10 minutes to start with everyone else.
Just out of it, ordered a double bbq burger, made it a meal (take out) Disappointed when I got home to find out what I had got, looked like the burgers out of McDonald's in a brioche bun! Overpriced!!!
Bit of an expensive McDonalds with less choice. The burger was so flat and tasteless and the brioche bun was burnt. The fries were nice. Bit of a joke charging for bottles of water that were filled from the tap! Next time I will save my money and go to McDonalds or better still, Murphy's across the road!
Well we’re do I start. Making our order the girl kept asking chips an drink with each burger not explaining it was an extra £2.50 each time so we spent about £10-15 that we didn’t need to. Then an order came out an the girl said they people were away that orderd it which was us even tho she took our order so the food sat there for at least 10 mins . Then to get Home an find the bottom of the burgers swimming in grease can’t see us coming back would rather go on to McDonald’s next time.
